The Legend of Leicester City FC From Zeroes to Heroes and Back to Zeroes in just 3 seasons. I'm hoping they win the UCL this season just to put a final twist to the tale. Bye Bye Ranieri. P45 in the morning |

Wingback:7 Nigerian player of the world, not one single African player of the year... Okocha was more of style than substance... If showboating was the criterion, mocha okocha would be the best ever but actual footballing, Eto, Drogba, even yaya and the likes are much better than okocha |

hazard got tired early on in the second half, but he was not that bad looking at the way Burnley played. in all, he was still given the man of the match by whoscored https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1080714/Live/England-Premier-League-2016-2017-Burnley-Chelsea |

Griffon:I've heard this too many times. The only thing stoke reduced Is their long everything (ball, throw, etc) for a more fluid system. Their brutish and cúntish way of tackling has hardly changed. Charlie Adam and Whelan are up there with the dirtiest tacklers in the league. Then you have the likes of shawcross, Beardsley, that Okpolo eyed Martins indi and even arnautovic who can be brutish cúnts when necessary. |

Wingback:Nonsense.... Drogba led Chelsea to multiple premier league titles and a champions league title. Likewise Eto. Drogba won APOTY three times, Eto won four times... Okocha couldn't win one... Did Okocha even ever make premier league team of the year? |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Ibime(m): 9:50pm On Feb 12, 2017 |
diggz:Matic did not cause no goal. The ball dropped in his vincinity with 3 players surrounding him and all he could do in that situation was attempt to backheel it in the air to get it away from danger which he missed. Any midfielder that attempted to control that ball will get dispossessed by those 3 players around him and would still get the blame. It's just one of those loose bouncing balls in midfield that you can't legislate for but to do what you can to get it away from the opponent. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by CONTEDDICTED: 9:54pm On Feb 12, 2017 |
Conte is a local coach that can't perform in Europe Yet Conte is bossing Pep, Jose and Klopp that better than 95% of all coaches in UCL Man city, Tottenham, United, Arsenal and Liverpool. ....Each of these clubs are better than at least 85% of UCL teams yet he has defeated all bar Liverpool Is the ball weight or pitch quality different in UCL? You usually don't face coaches better than Jose and Pep until the Semis, you had get to face better opponents than Jose, Pep and Klopp in the group stages.. . So what does he need to prove? ...Ki WA ni Nonsense? Reasoning is crucial |

Hull will definitely leave that relegation zone so Leicester better get their act together. I don't want Leicester to go down but I don't want Middlesbrough to go down either as they are friends of Chelsea and we have a good working arrangement with them as per loaning our young players. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by raumdeuter: 10:16pm On Feb 12, 2017 |
Last season Ranieri also bossed all coaches in the EPL including Mourinho, Wenger, Klopp Pocchetino Wenger also used to boss the EPL No coach becomes a great by winning the local league else Blanc will be considered one, Fergie wasnt even knighted until he won the CL No coach becomes a great getting bitchslapped by Galatasaray in CL group stage. Let Conte come and show himself in the CL hope he will be able to survive Galatasaray and Benfica this time around Reasoning is critical |

Ibime:Ok....and the second goal he almost gifted them? Truth is, I saw a player who couldn't do a thing with the ball in Burnley's half than to play safe everytime by passing backwards like Mikel obi. I didn't feel his presence both offensively and defensively(especially) that is why I am upset with him. |

diggz:He made a header in the opponents half that was short. Cahill overcommitted, got done. The pass still came to Luiz and he missed it, and you are talking about a short header in opponents half. Did you even notice that Burnleys best chance today was caused by Kante letting his man get goal side and run free to take a shot at Courtois? No, but you are talking about Matic short header in opponents half because some folk who know little about midfield balance have been screaming his name all year? Midfield was not an issue today. Burnley completely bypassed the midfield with long balls, that's why we asked for Fabregas. Matic had a poor game today but the reason for the draw is that we created 2 shots on goal today. So to repeat Nateevs question, how is Matic responsible for today's draw? |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Nihilist: 11:21pm On Feb 12, 2017 |
Ibime:The simple answer is that Matic was responsible for the goal we conceded. You can argue that we should have created more chances after the Burnley equaliser but the fact remains that we were 1-0 up, Matic conceded a stüpid foul and a set-piece specialist capitalised on that by scoring the goal that earned Burnley a point. You already conceded that Matic had a poor game, so the people shouting Matic's name clearly had a point. Not sure why you had to compose so many paragraphs if in the end you admitted that Matic was actually shït. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Ibime(m): 11:34pm On Feb 12, 2017 |
Nihilist:Matic was responsible for conceding a foul after being given a hospital pass over 30 yards from goal which happens many times in a match. It was a brilliant freekick. That's just it. Anything more than that is scapegoating. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Nihilist: 11:44pm On Feb 12, 2017 |
Ibime:Are you watching MOTD? Go on BBC1 right now. Otherwise enter iplayer tommorow. Matic is literraly the star of the highlight reel as Gullit analyses our midfield dysfunction. Every single clip. Check it out. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Ibime(m): 11:50pm On Feb 12, 2017 |
Nihilist:When I highlight midfield dysfunction, all midfielders get chased away to China. When you highlight midfield dysfunction, it's the best functioning midfield in the country. Quit trying to turn Gullit analyses of one game into your personal campaign against the best functioning midfield in the country. |

Ibime:My personal campaign ![]() Mehn just type Matic on twitter. The guy is being slaughtered online, on TV, and on this thread but I have a personal campaign. The only person that has a personal campaign here is you bro, because we all know Matic is one of your favourites. Goodnight my G.

Nihilist:Wake me up when they start calling for Chalobah first before Cesc. I will support that campaign. Till then, these are the yarnings of fantasists who know nothing about the requirement of the current midfield set up. There will always be peeps who know nothing about balance calling for a flair player to play - this is England. When you bench a fan favourite, you can expect such campaigns. Ask anyone who ever benched Beckham or ask Lampard what kinda campaigns were mounted against him by England fans for playing AM over Gerrard. We have also seen campaigns calling Matic the best midfielder in the country this week. You read what you want. The truth lies somewhere inbetween, but the only proof we can go on lies in the league table and the goals conceded column. I will not take central midfield advice from peeps who mounted strong campaign in favour of China midfielders. All I know is Chelsea is 10 points clear on the table with this midfield "dysfunction". |
