Vandalization and corruption has ALWAYS been a problem for this country right from its inception so you can't blame that for the poor performance of the Naira, Nigeria even fought a war for 3years and yet its economy wasn't this bad back then. The presidency and the minister of finance are to blame. Its as simple as that. What do you expect when the leader of a country goes to Germany / EU assmebly to secure loans to boost the economy and for some strange reason decides to throw the loan into the exploration of Oil in the chad basin when we already have oil in the SS. Isn't that madness? and yet we wonder why the Naira keeps crashing

This kind of statement from the acting vice president is strong enough to crash naira further. From my advance knowledge of macro economics, this kind of statement will send wrong signal to the national and international investors which will reduce their Risk aversion towards your currency which in turn leads to your currency losing value. Take it or leave it.
Re: Why Naira Keeps Crashing – Osinbajo by cstr100: 2:54pm On Feb 14, 2017
So according to the VP, it is not due to a fall in crude prices, but due to pipeline vandals and corruption?
Pipeline vandals and corruption have existed in other governments too.
A spike in both is a clear indication of a gross failure in government.
You can't just get naira exchange for dollar rising over 200%,domestic price inflation rising over 150% in over 2 years of a new government and then tell me the government of the day is innocent.
How can you tell such to any body with a brain and expect them not give you a dirty slap?

Make oil kill them there! So if Niger delta oil no dey Nigeria for no exist.

When they neglected those that own the oil. What do they expect? Free flow of oil?
Re: Why Naira Keeps Crashing – Osinbajo by Nobody: 3:03pm On Feb 14, 2017
So in essence, what the mere commissioner is saying is that the APC administration has failed in security and fight against corruption.

I just dey observe and listen to your rebranded lies and confusion.
