Vandalization and corruption has ALWAYS been a problem for this country right from its inception so you can't blame that for the poor performance of the Naira, Nigeria even fought a war for 3years and yet its economy wasn't this bad back then. The presidency and the minister of finance are to blame. Its as simple as that. What do you expect when the leader of a country goes to Germany / EU assmebly to secure loans to boost the economy and for some strange reason decides to throw the loan into the exploration of Oil in the chad basin when we already have oil in the SS. Isn't that madness? and yet we wonder why the Naira keeps crashing

From my advance knowledge of macro economics, this kind of statement will send wrong signal to the national and international investors which will reduce their Risk aversion towards your currency which in turn leads to your currency losing value.
