The Nigerian separatist group IPOB on reacts to Monday's telephone conversation between President Trump and Nigerian President Buhari describing it as "betrayal of the agreement by President Trump to support the struggle for the establishment of a sovereign state of Biafra". Speaking on Radio Biafra. IPOB claims Trump had promised to mount pressure on Nigeria for the release of the "President of Biafra General Nnamdi Kanu and the immediate actualization of the independent State of Biafra" IPOB warns the Trump administration to immediately resume negotiations with "Biafra Embassy in Spain or face the withdrawal of support from 80 Million Biafrans worldwide" The group promise to establish an independent Republic of Biafra with or without the support of America and the United Kingdom."
