According a Facebook user, Oyinkansola Ife, the lady in the pictures below, for the umpteenth time, killed her child shortly after giving birth to it in Ogun State. The lady who shared the photos on her social media profile wrote;

This caused by what medics call Post Patum Depression, thats why some new mums are placed under watch for sometime to avoid this kind of incidences; it may not have been her intention to kill her baby as there are many factors that could have led to it.

Many will just call her 'wicked' woman without knowing that the pains of labour can lead to momentary anger and depression if no one is there to attend to her and handle the situation, which is then followed by joy of motherhood later if properly handled for these kind of women.
Nurses and Midwives need to educate would be mums and relations about PPD during antenatal.

As a woman, have you ever heard of Post Patum Depression in reproductive health? She may not have been a heartless woman and she could also become suicidal if proper care is not given to her.
