Two members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) lost their lives along the Taraba Benue road as they returned back home from Taraba State.

The corp members who were part of the 2016 Batch B Stream 2 of the NYSC scheme lost their lives while returning home from the 21 days orientation camp in Taraba State. The unfortunate incident also saw other passengers of the vehicle sustain injuries. The bus was conveying mostly youth corps members from Taraba to Benue state before it crashed.

A source who spoke exclusively with kikiotolu revealed that one of the victims name is Becky and was a member of the number 9 Platoon of the 2016 Batch B Stream 2 Taraba state. She was returning back home just like every other youth corps member but met her end on the road.

So sad. RIP to the dead God have mercy on your children. the number of corpers that died this year hmmmmmm.

I can confidently tell you some of them if not all are not dead. The mentality of Nigerians to proclaim a comatose body as dead is rampant. If we had good medical health system, then you would understand what I meant. In shock the body sometimes shit down it's to protect the individual. Lifeless but high chances of survival. We should stop proclaiming people dead at scene without a qualified medical practitioner. Shocking is a mouth to mouth resuscitation might just be what is needed.
1000years backward yet living in the 21st century. For shame.

Mehn.... How will that girl's parents feel right now? It is so saddening to see this.
At tines those of us who finished service well don't understand how good God has been to us, we only seem to remember how the present state of naija is affected us without being thankful for all we have been through.
I passed this same road during my time from camp then, God thank you for life, it's not as if I am holier or better than anyone.
Seriously I feel for the victims family ......

Got a call that my sister is hospitalized with neck injuriea. I was about to cuss at NYSC for such stupidity, but the guy currently going to verify her admission at Gboko General Hospital was someone I served with at Delta 15A.
May God take control. Don't know if this is their bus sef.

Most Nigerian drivers are the cause accidents while they will shift the blame to God to have allowed tragedy befell his children

That was how a driver took the risk of driving us with a non functioning brake right from Ibadan to Ekiti.. We got to Ife road when the brake lost total functionality and bumped into two oncoming vehicles.. I had no scratch because I was sitting in the middle

God has not written road accident for anyone, our ignorance and lack of safety precautions cause us to die untimely in this part of the world
