Are you referring to the '80's Volkswagen Santana, that was re-badged as Volkswagen Passat from 1985 - 1988?

^^^ Nope. The VW Passat I was the B1 chassis, and was launched in 1973, ending production in 1981. The B2 (Passat / Santana) took over in 1981, ending production in 1988.

The Santana is called VW Quantum here in the US. I dont remember exactly when it was first introduced (1982/1983) and probably ended in 1988 or so. but Quantum is the name. Pics below. The US Jetta is Bora overseas.

The Jettas are not related to the Passat in any way, bar the brand.

Euro Jetta I - US Jetta I.
Euro Jetta II - US Jetta II.
Euro Vento - US Jetta III.
Euro Bora - US Jetta IV.
Euro New Jetta - US New Jetta.

For reference:

VW Passat I (B1) was called the VW Dasher in the US.
VW Passat II (B2) was called the VW Quantum in the US.
VW Passat II (B2) was called the VW Santana in Brazil.
VW Passat II (B2) was called the VW Corsar in Mexico.

You know the deal. Will have to look hard. Could find from a VW collector or swomeone tired of the ride. The prices will vary. Will keep u posted as soon as something comes up. But this is California. Ground Zero for cars. No rust issues too. I'm quite confident that something will show up.

The Golf i dream of owning is the Limited Farenheit Edition. I am not sure if they are in Europe but here in th US. All orange colors like attached.

I've heard of the VW Golf V Farenheit Edition. It was only available in North America and Canada.

The Euro version was the VW Golf V GTI Edition 30, similar spec to the US version, bar the Lamborghini Gellardo orange paint scheme.
