Igbos are not restricted to the east. your ports will be ghost and custom revenue will crumble without igbos. FG do not collect VAT where they did not invest, we built our shops so we pay VAT to our pockets. Igbos are not politically insignificant, they just dissociated themselves from the failure called Buhari. since 1999 Igbos have produced Senate president, CBN governor, INEC chairman, Chief of army staff, PDP national chairmen, FInance minister, I.G. of police etc. yorubas, who took advantage of igbos rejection of buhari and now boasting have not smelled most of this positions since 99

Some northerners are smarter than most igbos just as some igbos are smarter than most northerners. Exceptional intelligence is not distributed ethnically, IPOBS for example are a very dumb set of igbos, just the same as boko haram being a dumb set of northerners

Igbos for the most part are fighting to save Nigerians from this calamity of a country. Nigerians are suffering day in, day out, and Igbos are saying is it better to separate so that we can develop ourselves since we have tried for over 70 yrs and nothing to show for it. THIS IS COMMON SENSE. NIGERIA CAN NEVER EVER BE GOOD LET ALONE GREAT! I met an Ijaw man who is an IPOB, he told me what convinced him and several others to join IPOB was when he saw IPOB of mostly Igbos dying for the freedom of all Biafraans including them Ijaws. He said this shocked him and touched him so deeply because he knows an Hausa-Fulani or Yoruba can never ever die for his freedom!

I hope you will exhume the corpse of Ahmadu Bello or Murtala Muhammed and make him the messiah president in order to extend your brief federal relevance. With Igbos being vindicated on their stance on Buhari and exposing the yorubas, be sure to recoil back to ethnic regional politics where you have always belonged since 1960. Even Obasanjos presidency was heavily pro Igbo, and Osinbajo may not be different. I already see yorubas being angry about the possible incapacitation of buhari despite their son being the one to take over, they fear a level playground may be created which will send back to amala politics

Of three main ethnic groups in Nigeria, Igbos were the only ones who never had an empire. Pre-historic Nigeria, Igbos, as large as they were as an ethnic group, never tried to conquar the smaller ethnic groups around them.

Igbos are a confederate people, bound by ideology, tradition and language but fiercly indepedent. No traditional ruler can ever claim sovereignty over Igbos like the Alafin of Oyo can over Yorubas or the Sultan of Sokoto can over Hausa/Fulani.

Igbos are confederates, that is the only reason they could unite under Ojukwu to fight a war of independence but cant unite any other Igbo that seeks a 'unitary Nigeria'.

Had Ojukwu won the Biafran war and established Biafra, there would have been a 'given period' for him to tranform from a military dictator to 'confederate leader' with powers devolved to the people, or Igbos and the minorities that make up Biafra would risen up against him too.

l am not igbo

Its because Igbo's believe & practice democracy before colonial era & believe in self reliance so it makes us to always say things the way it is without fear or favour.
Infact it was one of the reasons the British hate the Igbo's because they find it hard to govern our people when they came. Unlike Yoruba's & Hausa's when they convince their obas & emir their problem has finish but its not like that for Igbo's.
