Please I Need Tips On Starting An Online Thrift Store... by KlaireKlement(f): 9:44am On Feb 26, 2017
Top of the morning to you..
I'm a student currently in 300level.For months now I have been thinking of a business to venture into while still in school from which I can earn money*of course that's the basic goal of any business* and still be stable in school.
I have an idea already and its owning an online thrift store where I can sell shoes, bags and other lady accessories for a start*I see this going bigger with time tho*
In other to prevent mistakes,I want to get my facts right before investing my time and money into this. This is why I created this thread. My challenges and what I need information about are:
a.Being a student, can I handle this and still have time for school?
b.Where within Nigeria can I get quality stock at fair prices?
And finally if anyone reading this is into or has any idea about this business,I won't mind him/her giving me tips.
Thanks

Pretty please don't just view and go away.....Type something*related to my topic tho*

Thanks for your reply....

I'm looking at starting with a capital of about 100k.I will run it on social media*Instagram in particular* for now hoping to get a website and increasing the range of items I will sell with time.
Payment for items will be done to validate an order before delivery will be made.

With the 100k r u buying stock and selling or as I asked before do u want to dropship, cos basically on instagram there r hundreds of accounts ding exactly what u want to do, so what would make u stand out? Do u have a particular niche u wanna target or u wanna sell anything female fashion. Do u have any idea how to market on instagram(paid or free)?

Just do a little research online, google "how to promote my page on instagram"

Go to the market and make ur research, look for suppliers who can procure goods for cheap

Customer base comes with time

If u have any specific question just mention me
