Check up the meaning of "know" and stop using the word wrongly. It implies knowledge, acquaintance, fact, real, and truth.

I just came in to say Bawomolo was a great and intelligent guy whose presence was appreciated when true mature minds reigned on Nairaland but sadly had to leave this earth when he became a victim of murder by thugs in the U.S. If that was the handiwork of Yahweh, then I am bold to say Yahweh, the xtian god is an a**hole.

Funny enough, I lost a secondary school senior of mine the same way in the same U.S sometime last year. Comments on his facebook showed that people really liked him but he still got murdered by thugs and guess what, he was a CHRISTIAN. I guess Yahweh also sent the executiner to him.

I was once in your shoes fam. All the sweet feelings you get when you think you are saved. Sadly, its all a scam. Adherents of many other religions experience that feeling too. Before you regard your religion as the "truth", study other religions too.

Yes, you can keep believing in anything that helps you sleep better at night. But that is all it is....

You believe in devil, christ, heaven, hell, god... talking snake/horse, Noah's ark, 600 year old ancient jewish people etc...

Good for you, if it makes you feel special.

But don't present them as truly existing realities when you clearly lack proofs.

I don't see end as any beginning. The end of every person is death. Just because you are self-conscious and self-aware doesn't make you anymore special in the universe. We are but only a conscious animals with a more complex brain.

Those preaching that still scare you doesn't scare me anymore. I have no pint of fear of the unknown. And the reasons for this are numerous.

It is just amazing to see how we could confidently defend something we have no justification to hold unto the belief of it.

It is even more shameful to admit we have been dogmatic for most of our lives.

And when we begin to realize the loopholes in our religious postulation, it scares us to accept that our lives may not have any significance in the larger picture of things.

Hence, some of us tend to go back to the life of ignorance that lessens the burden of our short lives.

We can't all be on this side.
