Ok, what Obi couldn't achieve undecided

UN in collaboration with World bank and non-governmental organizations is mostly involved in ecological disaster control and palliative. It's inconsequential whoever the Governor at the moment is.

The land of gully erosion will always be the red mud land of gully erosion.

God has forsaken them to their calamity, no man made intervention can save them. Their land will keep getting tinier and tinier

Hopeless old bastard, why didn't they approve the ones in Imo state if it were not as a result of sound leadership?

Read very well what you just quoted. The only difference is that nobody is taking photos in Imo State and then wrongly ascribe it to Okorocha as some people on this thread have done. There is UN/NEWMAP erosion control projects in virtually all Southeastern States but Anambra is the worst hit by erosion and requires much more attention.

This is our problem..
We are always busy comparing past and present..
And as such, most governors would prefer to go for short-term projects, so that they would start and finish them within their tenures and be applauded by the shortsighted followers.

Okorocha is a failure. For any UN/NEWMAP project there is always a counterpart funding from the states. In the case of IMo state they have not paid any counterpart fund to assure the UN/NEWMAP that they are ready for business. The erosion in Imo state is the worst ever seen in the history of NIgeria but OKorocha just like every other thing has continued to play politics with it just like he plays politics with the lives of Imolites. Let us be truthful for once..

Below is a major road in Owerri west that has been cut off but rather Okorocha would always play politics..

Amazing comment. However, these actions are influenced by the sitting governor in most cases, the intent is to prioritize the support/palliative at Federal level.

Obviously Peter Obi failed in this regard. angry angry

Useless government
