Are you sure you know anything about her origin?

Hope you know her father is the present king of Ogwashi uku.

NA WA...NA REAL WA.

Zombies...you people have taken the job of wailing to yourselves now. Okonjo Iweala is originally from Umuahia, Abia State but is married to a Deltan. Secondly, is it her job to supply electricity to the community or the job of that flat faced fowlshola?

your thoughts shouldn't be about a certain woman giving her people power, its nothing to you, your thoughts should rather be on your power companies and government to give you guys Constant power supply. When an individual does give out or help in securing basic amenities for any certain location its more of a CHARITY/PRIVILEGE, than a RIGHT..
Is there any ill if she does? Nobody is saying it's a right but that gesture would have saved her community from gnashing in darkness for good 7 yrs. Habba!!!!

the community should channel their greviances to the appropriate organizations/Sector. As long as they pay for Power, they have every right to demand for it .

Other communities in Delta State suffers the same fate. Abbi in Ndokwa West Local Government is a typical example.Only a few people in Abbi are owning electricity bill with the records available but the BEDC keeps changing figures of the amount the community is owning. If you go to their office in Obiaruku they will give a figure.then visit Benin they will give a different figure, all outrageous. It is time the NERC calls them to order. Before Abbi community was disconnected the fixed charge billing for R2 by BEDC was 1800 Naira and an additional 5% as VAT making a total of 1890 Naira but unfortunately they have been billing this people between 2,500 and 3000 Naira monthly.

Why do I Need A Custom Clearing Agent?

If this is also your question, you are also in the right place.

Lets think about this for a moment...

Imagine the risk of keeping millions at home, if there were no banks.
Its very possible to keep cash at home but the risk is unbearable.

In the same way, there are licensed agents available for you to
have a problem free clearance.

Here Are 2 Reasons Why You Need Them

1) They have a reputation among the customs.
Hence, clearing agents are prioritised above individuals.

2) Documentation is a very critical procedure; as as incomplete
Information can stop your import and export instantly.

What you Gain

1) They get you added documents that the customs authority
demand when you did not plan it.

2) They help you document exactly what the customs need.

3) You gain good insurance services.

4) Due to their good knowledge of the industry and its
most recent changes you have the confidence that it
will be a successful import and export.

* You can now import successfully without worries.

I am not sure that Daura has steady electricity despite all the decades of Buhari in power.
Moreover the issue of electricity should be treated and resolved nationwide and not piecemeal due to someone's influence or not.
That is also corruption aka influence peddling.

A minister is an individual while FG is collection/group comprising the President, vice president, senators, house of Representatives members and the ministers. You don't expect an individual to do what a collection of individuals should do!!!

Still not her job to eletrify the place.
gists:
I am one of the biggest critics of this woman having supervised the economy during which time some of the biggest theft occurred in this country. But COMMON this is cheap blackmail. It was not her job - period!
I will continue to criticise her for failing to develop our infrastructure when we had the biggest earning in our history but this topic is just senseless.
Silly excuse. undecided Why didn't she bring the plight of her people to the attention of those who were meant to electrify the place? shocked Was money voted for the project or not? Does that town fall under a DISCO or not? Are residents of that town not expected to be connected to the national grid? Or she just chose to ignore their sufferings because she and her family could afford to fuel their own generator 24x7? huh

And to think that her father, is one of the traditional rulers in that axis.... smh! sad

Did anyone tell you she didnt bring the plight of her people to the appropriate authorities? That she did so does not mean anything will be done.
