Other communities in Delta State suffers the same fate. Abbi in Ndokwa West Local Government is a typical example.Only a few people in Abbi are owning electricity bill with the records available but the BEDC keeps changing figures of the amount the community is owning. If you go to their office in Obiaruku they will give a figure.then visit Benin they will give a different figure, all outrageous. It is time the NERC calls them to order. Before Abbi community was disconnected the fixed charge billing for R2 by BEDC was 1800 Naira and an additional 5% as VAT making a total of 1890 Naira but unfortunately they have been billing this people between 2,500 and 3000 Naira monthly. |

SalamRushdie:I am not sure that Daura has steady electricity despite all the decades of Buhari in power. Moreover the issue of electricity should be treated and resolved nationwide and not piecemeal due to someone's influence or not. That is also corruption aka influence peddling. |

| Re: Okonjo Iweala’s Village Groans After 7 Years Without Electricity Supply by 9jatatafo(m): 6:40pm On Feb 28, 2017 |
hannyjay:A minister is an individual while FG is collection/group comprising the President, vice president, senators, house of Representatives members and the ministers. You don't expect an individual to do what a collection of individuals should do!!! |
