The message was clear .All schools in Rivers state to attend the meeting to discussed extensively the quality of teachers,the learning environment,the nature of school feels and other logistics.
Those schools whose feels are high deliberately boycotted the meeting with the governor even when they were duely informed for reasons best known to them.To send a signal to others.It is not business as usual,sanctioned has to be melted out to offenders.

Good news their licences has being giving back to them.Academic activities resumed today.

These are top PH schools we are talking of. Wahala dey. I stand with Wike anyhow.

Wike has plans of imposing heavy taxation on the schools but he should realize that they may move away from Port Harcourt to more conducive Owerri and people will still send their children there.

Lol. How many parents in Owerri can pay the fees these schools charge?

Wike also announced that majority of principals of public secondary schools in the state will be suspended for charging illegal levies which placed unnecessary burden on parents.
Wike told the school proprietors at the meeting that his actions are aimed at improving the quality of education in the state.

What is an unnecessary levy? If parents don't like price they are welcome to send kids to public school or competing private school.
