2+5 ~ [2x5]+2=12
3+6 ~ [3x6]+3=21
4+7 ~ [4x7]+4=32
5+8 ~ [5x8]+5=45

the trick is to multiply the two numbers but add the first digit to the answer of the multiplication
Multiplying 5 by 8 we get 40 then adding 5 to 40 we get 45.

Dude there are two approaches one gives you 34 if you add incrementally the other gives you 45 using a multiplication approach.
