We have observed over time the illegal continuous blinkering activities in Curve Area of Obeama Town in Oyigbo LGA Rivers State. There is an illegal refinery along the pipe line area at the back of Army Camp in Obeama town in Oyigbo where they continue to be cooking crude oil between 12am and 5am in the morning. Seun, Since January, we have not been able to sleep at night because of the hazardous nature of the contaminated air that we inhales. When we cough we cough out black substances in our catarrh. Our lungs and respiratory tracks have been painful. We are spending money at the Pharmacies and hospital. Our people are dying day by day. Our house floors and seats are coated with black substance. We are tired of this. We are using this medium to call on the Rivers State Government and the Federal Government and security operatives to intervene to save our lives.

We know that Governor Wike is not aware of this but we are using this medium to reach him to help and put an end to this.
