The fact that when Lagos or a south west state do something similar to this, it is interpreted by Igbos as actions against them, but when done in alaigbo, it is justified.
Is it a matter of selective amnesia or just plain hypocrisy?
You are the big hypocrit.
They have been notified since middle of last year.... And adequate time was given to them.
That of Ambode was done over night when people goods was destroyed... More also the matter was in court.. Ambode could not obay court order but went ahead to demolished stores with goods inside

You have added lies to your selective amnesia and hypocrisy. The traders were duly informed of the Govts decision to clear the markets. But some people who believes in lies and emotional blackmail refuse to vacate.

Obviously, from the pic below, shops were affected. Now, had this happened elsewhere, you would have seen the bitter, hateful bigots wailing all over the place, telling tales of how everyone and everything hates them and have been doing all they can to ensure they don't prosper!
Can u reason like a human......The difference is that there is no single damage on goods,Properties and Money.....in that they were given enough time and added more 3months to the time given to them after marking those building since last year.......Okezie is doing Restructure after Demolition for a better and conducive environment which everyone will benefit.....no body cursed him and no one is crying

but Ambode Destroyed Properties without Due time, All goods and asked the Agbero and Alaye boys to enter and collect money and other valuable properties inside these shops while the owners are outside and restricted from entering inside and majority of the shop owners are in the Village still yet to come back...he is doing only Demolition of Oshodi... Everybody Cursed him because Thats wickedness in high place....

what is been done in aba is affecting people and i don't know were you get the information from that people who are affected directly or indirectly are not complaining.

things like this are being done to bring development. even if it is done in Lagos or any other state people either IBO or Hausa any tribe affected will still complain.

His message is clear & accurate. Since it is in Aba then it is a welcome development but if same is to happen anywhere here in SW, you guys would be crying everywhere on the internet like a baby saying igbos were the target.

Yes shops where demolished
Stop turning everything into tribal and hate message
This is a nice development and I think it will solve the constant flooding around faulks Road and Ariaria market

yes, it's for development but these people we're talking about will not sees it that way if it happened like this in Lagos. They will say they were been targeted, anyway big up to the gov there.

Guy use your head and stop been stupid and silly. Look at those pix very well, can't u see goods also been brought out of the shops? Also, if our government here in the SW wants to undergo any developmental project, you guys are quick to go to court to collect court injunction to stop any form of demolition but if it were your our Igbo land, u allow your government to perform there developmental projects.
Can you see how selfish you people are?

If the former governors had continued where Mbakwe stopped, the situation in Enyimba city would not have deteriorated to its present condition. Thank God the new Governor is trying to clean up the once vibrant and proud city. Enyimba n' Aba!!

In a street he demolished 22 multistorey buildings ranging from 2 to 5. He is trying but should take it easy as most of those buildings belong to non-Ngwas especially Anambra and Imo men.
