Please, what platform would you prefer or recommend to build a Social Network/Community Portal, looking at such platforms as BuddyPress, Ning, SocialGo, Dolphin, PHPFox etc.

We are about commencing a Social Network Design Project, that we believe will be revolutionary in the Social Media world of Nigeria. We will definitely need and are open to partnership (Co-Creators/Tech Partners , Media/Publicity, Funding etc).

Code from scratch (the best option)
If you still insist on using a script try Oxwall

You want to revolutionized without coding? Is okk

Facebook even without a unique feature or concept is as successful as it is today. The project we have in mind has a unique concept that we believe can make it "sell fast". BTW we are actually looking at about 10% ONLY of Facebook's success.
