Just look at your statement
We always attached tribalism into everything.
You people display hatred on the average Igbos but allow them to separate mba

Nonsense
And who is stopping the likes of you to go back to your erosion-affected land?

Go to any threads where demolition took place in Lagos and see how your likes were shouting 'victimisation' 'genocide' like a day old baby.

Or is seeking relevance/appointments at Federal level in the zoo and shouting 'let my people go' at the same time not an height of hypocrisy?

Aba takes 1st and 2nd, and currently pushing for 3rd position as the most dirtiest place on earth.
Even if the governor gives them 8lanes, they will narrow it to half within the first month of commissioning.

igbo kwenu.

Obviously, from the pic below, shops were affected. Now, had this happened elsewhere, you would have seen the bitter, hateful bigots wailing all over the place, telling tales of how everyone and everything hates them and have been doing all they can to ensure they don't prosper!

But why were you people blaming Rocha's who did the same thing that this one is doing now.

Stop writing Anambra and ordinary Imo state on the same sentence. I don't know why you are so cursed. Stop trying to make Anambra appear as if we have anything in common with your Imo state. Why not say that those buildings belong to Imo state people and stop it there. Tufiaaaa

Abagworo:
In a street he demolished 22 multistorey buildings ranging from 2 to 5. He is trying but should take it easy as most of those buildings belong to non-Ngwas especially Anambra and Imo men.

Yes shops where demolished
Stop turning everything into tribal and hate message
This is a nice development and I think it will solve the constant flooding around faulks Road and Ariaria market
Don't waste your data at that bastard.

Common, this is wicked, ignorance and waste. Expand new areas for city or market, instead of wasting money to waste money in demolition of already-made wealth. Unless where a house sits on or interrupts drainage system, this demolition is uncalled for.

Looks like some of these governors in the east were sent to multiply poverty.
Okorocha demolished in 2011 and even now, and caused hunger in Imo state till today.

And you haven't heard or read what they've said and keep saying about him too?

[quote author=AshiwajuFoward post=54295551]Yes o. We for dey hear lamentations about how they were targeted just because their heads are flat. Talk about double standard. [/quote

But look closely, that governor did not do right with al the huge damages caused for mere channelling pf flood. Look at the little pipe he is laying for flood.

See, for Aba to regain its former glory as one of the great cities of Africa and even look better, Aba must cry, murmur, grumble, complain, whatever..
Regardless of your political party, whether you like Ngwa people or not (who cares anyway), acknowledge the fact that the man is working, if he hasn't gotten to your side, then wait for it..
Aba must be better and glorious!

They would have said something like; the shops were demolished because they were listening to Ladio Biafla.

Everything for them is a source of propaganda.

Re: Massive Demolition Of Buildings Going On In Aba (Photos) by Kingspin(m): 4:10am On Mar 06, 2017
No general market demolition or relocation of market. What the government is doing is bringing down those shops that blocked water tunnels, drainages and access road which make the market congested and difficult to access. At the end of the exercise new shops will be built.

Is like you are writing from Haiti. Unlike ess most state in Nigeria, Aba is purely business city and the government is totally aware so the government will defaced some structures now but they will end up building more new shops.

If the former governors had continued where Mbakwe stopped, the situation in Enyimba city would not have deteriorated to its present condition. Thank God the new Governor is trying to clean up the once vibrant and proud city. Enyimba n' Aba!!
I don't know what to say to you; I don't know who touched your heart to say this. All I can say is God bless you for mentioning something this sensitive. I have wept so many times when I recall how MCC was constructing roads from Aba to Owerri during Sam Onunaka Mbakwe's regime. I was born and raised at Omuma road Aba; I weep each time I remember the legacy Mbakwe left, and how people after him derailed. I don't even know what else to say; May God empower this present govt or any govt at all He ordains for his people, so the glory of Aba and other cities will be restored.
Once again, thanks for this comment.

The kind of demolition done here is quite diferent from the ones done with hate. Fences are the most affected here and for shops, occupants don't vacate their shops until the construction work get to them. Some of these shops sizes are only reduced meaning the occupants returned to his or her shop as soon as construction is completed in days or weeks, they's almost no or fewer cases of alright relocation meaning the governor is sensitive to the plight of the traders unlike the practice in other climes. I think the motive here is to solve the flooding problem. In other climes, traders are made to sufer though the govt may have good intentions. Acct of what l witness.
Do you mind them? Most of the demolitions were done by the owners of the buildings themselves after reaching an accord with the contractors. Except for that of the electronic lines where the owners failed to follow instructions and started raising funds to bribe the task force members. However, they were given enough time to evacuate their goods. Elsewhere, the shops will not only be demolished in the midnight but also have the goods burnt as well.

Nwanne, o ga adi nma! I equally grew up in Aba when the city was better organized. I had the best of my teenage life experience in Enyimba city. Throughout the 80s, Aba was fun. From our football games at CKC, Okigwe Rd. Primary School, to the taste of delicious meal served with stockfish and rich ice creams! Enyimba city will bounce back with a big bang!
