Eze Ndigbo of Malaysia died few months ago.
Eze Ndigbo of China just died few days ago.
I just heard that another Eze Ndigbo is hospitalized in critical condition.

Whats going on with my people?

The EZE title can move abroad but the EZE as a stool and office should not be located abroad.
Just as our president as a person can move abroad but the office and stool should not sit abroad. Unless he is on exile. That is my point.
They should be called leaders or presidents or heads onye isi. Not to be called his royal majesty EZE bakabaka 1 of igbos in China. Igbos all around the world have their ezes officially at home. No eze stool should be fixed anywhere else. If they were ezes at home, then they can be called EZE but not specially for Igbos abroad. My own opinion.

I believe EZE is a traditional title. Like Oba and Emir. EZE Is KING he has has chiefs, they can look for igbo words to describe their role as the head representative of their union. No union has a KING or QUEEN they have leaders or spokes person but not monarchy. Who made them King? King in a foreign land?

I call myself a Medical doctor but I do not run a clinic nor have the educational qualifcation and I don't see anything wrong in my giving myself the tittle as long as I never have a practice where I treat anyone. does that make sense?

As long as he is Called EZE and referred to as his royal majesty abi Na how Dem refer to the Malay abi China one? To me, he has set office and is working in that capacity. EZE is not just a tittle like chieftancy, it is a very important office and it should not be used anyhow.
A law should be passed that no one who is not real EZE should use that tittle unless Na to just joke.
