Your the one derailing your thread or maybe you have been acting blind to the truths being said here... Don't you know that there are Igbos in Delta and Rivers as well as other states in SS? are you implying we should leave them behind or have you been feeding fat on Nigeria's concocted history relegating the Igbos to only 5 states? Haven't you heard that Biafra is not just about Igbos but about people who share in same Ideology. You know nothing about IPOB and what they are fighting for... |

Amarabae:You obviously dont know what IPOB or the Biafran struggle is about. Biafra is not and has never been about Igbo. It just so happens that Igbos are the the largest tribe in Biafra, thats all. The last president of Biafra, General Philip Effiong, was not an Igbo man. The secretary to the Government of Biafra under Ojukwu, Mr NU Akpan was not an Igbo man. It was an Ijaw man called Frank Opigo who came up with the name 'Biafra'. On the Biafran flag, the Biafra sun has 11 rays showing the 11 Regions of Biafra. Igbo land is just one Region, what are the other 10? These are examples to show that Biafra is not an 'Igbo project'. The Biafrans want a referendum held in what is today called SE/SS (with the exception of Edo) so that everyone can decide what they want. It should be noted that it is not only IPOB that wants this, even an Ijaw woman, Mrs Ankio Briggs, is spearheading a referendum for the Lower Niger Congress. Why would anyone, wether Igbo or minority, be against a referendum that lets them decide their destiny? Why would a person deny themselves the right to decide their fate? Thats why anyone who says that the minorities should not get a say through referendum is an enemy of the minorities. Its not like the minorities of Nigeria have much say in Nigeria anyway.Nobody ever held a referendum for us all to be Nigerians. … 2) PROTESTS: Since nnamdi kanu was arrested, ther have been many protests calling for his release, but has that released Nnamdi Kanu? NO.Some Nigerians reason through their anus. The Nigerian Army is shooting people, killing unarmed civilians, committing murder. Instead of Nigerians to condemn this horrible act, they are busy blaming protesters. It is only in Nigeria that you will see people leave those who are doing the shooting and blame those being shot. What sort reasoning is this? Is it written anywhere that it is the job of the Nigerian Army to shoot unarmed people? The law allows anyone to engage in peaceful protest and if the Nigerian Army are killing people for this, it is capital muder. 3) IGBO NATION: why not agitate for an Igbo nation? European countries are succeding because they are mainly homogenous, why trying to leave Nigeria to another heterogenous country,If Igbos must agitate for an "Igbo only country", then the name Biafra must not be used. We will have to come up with a new name, new flag, new Anthem in the Igbo langauge etc. Igbos will have to begin from scratch to build a new sense of self determination. There is no point to go this way when referendum can decide the issue. Most of the minorities are even more tired of 'one Nigeria' than Igbos. |

Amarabae:Exactly!! I also want an Igbo nation or should I call it empire bkos it'd be comprised of clans/tribes who are of different strengths from the ika in the west to the isobo in the east, from the obolos in the north to the ubani in the south I don't need the Rukwo among us, nor do I need the Mmoŋo nor the Edo or any of those mushroom tribes that litter the SS and NC. SuperS1Panther:Ignore that one. Na frustration and loneliness wan kill am. ![]() He's about to die of heartache because someone dared to tell them the truth. Just imagine those people lumping Igede and Idoma nation into their imaginary utopia - isn't that the height of stupidity? Who sent them? Who did they consult? When you point that absurdity out to them they go "who did the Brits consult before creating Nigeria?" then I wonder to myself, if they think what the Brits did was preposterous, why trying to repeat same? It just doesn't make any sense. The only such thing Benue South (comprising Igede and Idoma nations) has agitated for is the creation of Apa state out of Benue state, and even that is just a gimmick David Mark has been using to galvanise the electorates in his domain. Nothing else. They insult everyone who disagrees with their methods as though that is what's gonna help their course the most. Why court so many enemies when making friends would most likely aid your agenda than not? |

TheDEVlLHimseIf:You have a point, those who claim to "hate IPOB and love Igbos" are deceiving themselves, they are time-tested rabid Igbo-haters and their pre-Ipob post history proved it when I did a check. Unfortunately IPOB don't seem to be daunted by their hate campaign. If you hate me, I'll hate you more; If you love me, I'll love you more.~ Nnamdi Kanu. |

| Re: IPOB- Right Ideology But Wrong Methodology! by unclejb2(m): 3:04pm On Mar 11, 2017 |
The first place you got it wrong was saying that Igbos are trying to force Biafra on the minorities. No one is forcing anyone. Rather, when Biafra comes, any of the minority tribes that would like to join shall be welcome. I have many Ijaw, Efik, Anan, Ibibio, Okrika etc who have shown more commitment to the actualization of Biafra than the average IPOB Igbo. Secondly, the issue of protest was the galvanizing factor why it's not easy for Buhari and his goons to simply kill Nnamdi Kanu. The protests showed the world the followership Nnamdi Kanu commands and the dangers and risks of harming him. The killing of unarmed Biafrans united and emboldened them the more. Thirdly, Igbos are people of excellence. It's not difficult to spot one anytime. |

victorvezx:That is what the agitation is all about, to get the authorities to see the reason for a referendum as a peaceful way of resolving a dispute. Nobody is under any illusion that it will be easy. However, anyone thinking that things will continue as it is in Nigeria is living in the past. |

Amarabae:You are immensely wrong on the position of the colored in red above. First of all, Biafra has never been an Igbo thing as you and other detractors would want us to believe. Igbo did not fight Biafra war more than certain kids from Ibibio, Annang, Ogoni and even Ijo. The young men who were recently buried in Akwa Ibom on the backdrop of IPOB were not Igbo. Please be forthright with your deceitful proclamation about south-south. There are so-called south-south goons that were never part of Biafra and should never be counted as one in the future. I am strongly for Republic of Igbo land but this plank is not in the agenda of IPOB. Yet I am in support of their plight as long as it will lead to the disintegration of the cesspit called Nigeria. I am for anything that will bring an end to Nigeria. Only aspect of IPOB agenda that brings regret is lack of ammunition. |
| Re: IPOB- Right Ideology But Wrong Methodology! by Nobody: 3:54pm On Mar 11, 2017 |
Biafra is dead and buried. It will take alot more than a rouge radio station and a few ineffectual street protests to carve out a new country from our beloved Nigeria. Everyone should be patriotic and join hands to build a better Nigeria |

Amarabae:Nne you see your life? You'll soon be making new friends from the ritual enclave. Some of them are already giving you the big ups and wanking themselves to ecstasy. Back to your comments... I think it is wrong for you to unilaterally make a blanket statement suggesting that the South-South 'minorities' aren't interested in Biafra. You have absolutely no right to speak for them. Isn't that a contradiction of the freedom of choice you were parroting in your write-up? Allow them to make their own choices. When the time for a referendum comes, THEY and THEY alone will decide whether they want in or out. Secondly, there's absolutely nothing wrong with peaceful protests. It is a legitimate means of voicing out group opinions the world over. If the Nigerian security forces decide to massacre unarmed protesters for daring to voice out their opinions, their day of reckoning will surely come and we'll all be alive to witness it. Asking people not to protest because some hateful Awusa-Fulani soldier might shoot at them means you're silently emboldening tyranny and that is unacceptable. Always remember that power is transient and comes from God alone. I hope I've made my points clear to you. Word of advice : Only a foolish person will join forces with strangers to throw stones into his father's compound. You can marinate on that. |

Fx55:oga, we must save ourself first before trying to save those who don't want our help. You can't force refrendum on people who never asked for one. Its not logical. I believe in mutual relationship. Igbos have done a lot for the minorities, what have they done for us. Support a homogenous Igbo country if you want Nigeria to break. |
