Lol lacks character as per he's an introvert? So is Eminem in a way, but then I guess there's the 'Slim Shady' gimmick he used to push

Probably dead presidents
Can we say Em is introverted? IMO, He qualifies more as an ambivert than as an introvert.

If while riding around town in my leggedez-benz (grin) I spotted a purple cow amongst a herd of brown cows grazing in the meadows. Which do think would be more memorable to me? The regular brown cows or the one draped in purple swag? It's a no-brainer! The image of the purple cow would of course be more difficult to forget than that of the plain-looking cows. Neuroscientists call this phenomenon the Isolation/Von Restoff effect.

Long story short, the likes of Eminem, Hov, Canibus inter alia are like the purple cow in that little story, while rappers like Nas are the brown, boring cows that lack replay value. Well, it's only my subjective opinion.

Good afternoon to you! Tell me, do you like bad boys?

Fair enough, he has a different style, different personality and most of his music isn't 'mainstream'/radio friendly but nevertheless he still makes good music if that's what you like and is also a great lyricist

Lol what does being a 'bad boy' constitute so I know exactly what I'm saying yes or no to

He is a great lyricist, but lyricism can only get you so far.

I cannot believe I'm about to do a BBA metaphor. Okay, I can do this. (inhales... exhales)

Depends what you want out of it so 'so far' is subjective, he's a rap artist and has cemented himself as one of the greats. He's never struck me as someone particularly concerned with being the most 'popular' and he may not be the richest but I also doubt his pockets are hurting

Lol you're going to need to give examples of actions, not people. Plus the only thing 'bad' about Kemen is that he's a pervert

I agree with the emboldened portion of your post! But he still isn't amongst my favourite emcees. His lyrics aren't vicious enough, and non-violent music taste like morbid vinegar on my taste buds – even though I'm pro-Satyagraha like the great Mohandas Ghandhi. grin.
I would pick a K-Rino or an Immortal Technique over Nas anyday.

Lol. By style you dey call me pervert oo. . grin

Don't you think “pervert” is too strong a word to describe this Kemen fellow? From what I've read he merely responded to a non-verbal sexual invitation – from Tboss I suppose –, but unbeknownst to him, it was only a well-disguised subterfuge she hoped would rope him into getting evicted. Typical case of Samson and Delilah; classical example of “just underneath the innocent and docile layer of a female is the baleful venom of a viper”. Oh! Now I understand what all those endless hours of my momma saying “never trust these bîtches, son” are for. shocked cheesy

Alright, since you asked that I describe it with real life examples I suppose the conventional definitions of a bad guy would be:

–A guy whose mind is always in the gutter.

–Could be introverted or could be a Falstaffian figure; and must be well-versed in the art of “making a woman's knees buckle in the other room”.

—Must to an extent be a flirt.

—Must have in some point in time double-dated.

—Must possess social savoir-faire i.e knowing how to keep conversations interesting; knowing no lady on a first date wants to hear about how the Asians had travelled through the Bering Straight to get into North America; or that Vasco Nunez de Balboa was the first European to see the Pacific ocean . grin

—Lives life on the fast lane; breaks rules; is a bit macho... John Wayne-type macho.

—Detests feminism and all it stands for, and treats his women like property. grin

I'm done! Lool

Not really. He made a comment about girls being good targets for sex when they're inebriated and that once you're done sleeping with her, you should pretend you were also out of it and apologise. He made a another comment along the lines of he and his friends mixing maggi and coke and giving it to girls to trap them when they come to their house. He was warned for both statements, that's twice as they were said on separate occasions. The last straw was when he fondled TBoss when she was sleeping, the video showed him specifically looking around trying to see if cameras were facing him and/or if any housemate was watching, their 'familiarity' before the incident has nothing to do with anything, people keep saying she asked him to give her a massage earlier in the day, what has that got to do with him touching her whilst she was unconscious? She was sleeping and was unaware, he took advantage of her unconscious state. I'll sha even add predator to his list.

–A guy whose mind is always in the gutter. (Pertaining to sex? As per filthy minded? Yeah sure why not)

–Could be introverted or could be a Falstaffian figure; and must be well-versed in the art of “making a woman's knees buckle in the other room”. (Don't mind)

—Must to an extent be a flirt. (Sure, I'm also a flirt so I'd be in good company lol)

—Must have in some point in time double-dated. (Cheated? Lol if so no)

—Must possess that social savoir-faire i.e knowing how to keep conversations with ease, knowing no lady on a first date wants to hear about how Asians had travelled through the Bering straight to get into North America. grin (Yeah good conversation skills are good)

If this is the case then he ought to be prosecuted for sexual harrasment as well. Although I'm finding it a bit hard to reconcile with that one should be expelled for sexual harrassment in a house of sexual liberality, or sexual immorality as is interpreted by the conservatives. Quite the paradox I must say. I stand to be corrected.

–A guy whose mind is always in the gutter. (Pertaining to sex? As per filthy minded? Yeah sure why not)
Smart choice! It is said that sexual thoughts aid in tapping into the wellspring of creativity. Sexual thoughts also help in relieving one of tension. As you may know many orators also like to imagine that all the members of the audience are butt-nakêd so as to hand-wave off the tension of public speaking.

My strongest mnemonics also happen to be very vivid sexual images. I guess I tick the box in this regard. tongue

Really? Some... scratch that... Many women actually have floods of ørgasms from being bossed around by men. You sure you don't secretly fancy being submissive – I'm talking in the way Anasthesia was to Christian Gray. Sexual harassment and sexual liberality are two very different things, it's not about immorality it's about a guy with rapey tendencies (who has already been warned about his conduct) crossing the last line and henceforth being disciplined

Lool I know, I like confident, 'assertive' men but there's a thin line between being dominant and being an abusive misogynistic tyrant which Nigerian men particularly tend to cross

If one is dominant he/she tends to lord it over whoever he/she has dealings with. Do you like a man who would lord it over you?

Can I send a message? The walls here have ears.

Why not? Isn't that the point of social media? To get social? Eminem raped jay-z on that track.
Nas had to reference it on ether years later..
~Eminem murdered you on your own sh!t~
I beg to differ. Eminem did not “rape” Jay-z on the track. They were evenly matched, but Jay stood out because his content was much better. Em was all about the usual braggadocio while Hov was dropping street wisdom by the bucketload.

Eminem had better rhymes!
Jay-z had better content and delivery! His laidback flow also seemed to accentuate his vocal presence.

There was bad blood between Nas and Jay-Z as at that time. If Marshall Mathers had spat kindergaten bubble-gum bars, Nas would still have claimed it murdered Jay-Z.

But jay acknowledged it himself..i read it somwhere years later he agreed Em had the better verse
true his content was heavy and he attacked critics and people who were against his music at the time that they didn't get his message because they 'schemed through it' and Em attacked parents that were against his hate lyrics and the influence he had over kids but men..in my opinion even without reading any reviews Eminem stood out..his delivery his rhymes..everything!
His second verse..something about catholic, holy water, Mormons (can't really remember how he put it) was the nail in the coffin
P.s: did you know the jam was originally for Em and Royce da 5'9..jay liked it and wrote over Royce's verse and he still didn't top Em's previous verse!

Typical Jay Stan.
Stop making excuses, Em's verses on that track were probly his best ever; Flow, rhyme scheme, delivery and content. Period.
That you prefered Jay's content is another issue. Jay appealed to the street better. But Em and his verses personified the meaning of a musical Renegade.

Don't get it twisted tho. Jay over Em any day. But as far as features go; Em murdered him on his own sh.

Just my personal opinion. To be candid tho, as a white rapper he changed the rap game and gave rap a new face.
He was actually the first best selling rap artist of all time and I always remember the famous show where Drake referred to him as the greatest of all time while bowing.
Like I said it is a personal opinion! If 2Pac were the be alive maybe Eminem would come second behind him!
Last reminder: Listen to Big Sean- No Favours. Eminem over raped Big Sean on this track.

Poetically and emotionally, Eminem is NOT touching Pac. He may be a better rapper in the technical sense, but I think Pac is just the better one. They both speak their minds, but Pac’s poetry is beautiful, dark, harrowing and dope all at once. Eminem has 3 classic albums, Pac has 5, plus a couple of stellar posthumous/side projects (Better Dayz, Resurrection, Thug Life Volume 1 etc.)

I was never a fan of Eminem's nasal style (which he's retired), but his wordplay is inarguably top notch. When we talk about lyrical skills, i give it Eminem

Greatest rapper of all time to me is Pac to me.

Em was robbed off 7 years of his music (all thanks to vicodin) and I dare say he was never the same since (although recovery did catch the spark again). I have to agree with you tho but Em's genius when he was at his peak is unmatched..
You need to listen to 'Kim' from the mmlp believe me u'd be left with chills...his wife after hearing the song attempted suicide! When it comes to emotion Em is also unmatched..however I won't let my love for Em blind me to facts...its just a pity PAC wasn't alive now so we could really compare the two..
I'd grudgingly go with your view tho..PAC is the GOAT..but Em is the billy GOAT.
