I believe the traditional certificate and some pictures should be ideal. There is the option to select Common Law marriage...

Jig5aw:
I think a marriage certificate issued and duly signed by a registrar of a Nigerian high court will be adequate. Please, house am I wrong?

Hi All, I just want to let everyone know that l won't be regular on the thread anymore due to changes in my schedule. This might also affect the rate at which I attend to PMs. The good thing is that there are so many people on the thread that are knowledgeable about the process and will be able to answer any questions that may be asked.

I have learnt a lot, made some good friends through this thread and have enjoyed answering questions. I wish everyone on this journey quick PPR and smooth relocation to Canada.

Hi all, please should there be an address on the reference letter from my previous employer? & what address?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by boldinc(m): 9:48am On Mar 14, 2017
The letter-headed paper should have the company's contact details. Tho your supervisor can add his/hers while signing off.

Good morning guys, please how long does it take IQAS to acknowledge your ECA application after submitting the documents?

I faxed the necessary docs to them on Friday and have not heard anything since then.

1. No

2. Unless you're hushpuppy and can afford an agent, it's a process you can confidently do on your own. That's what this thread is all about.

3. No age limit, ur age is a determinant in your overall scores. You begin to lose points at age 30 and above. Canada doesn't want old cargoes I guess. U gotta be at least 18 tho

4. Page 0 clearly outlines the entire process from beginning till end. Go through pages 0-5, you'll understand. You can ask specific questions after.

Cheers

@temitope 06 thanks for the wonderful information am highly grateful.

IQAS is currently overwhelmed with a large volume of applications. Understandably, a lot of applicants are switching to them due to their faster processing.

For instance, they have a backlog as they are yet to open surface mails that came in from last week Wednesday.

Give them till the end of this week, you should be able to get an acknowledgement from them by then.

Good day dear all,

I was able to get reference letter on company letter headed paper from my NYSC employer (Govt), and in the IRCC required format but the person who signed off on the letter is the head of Info Tech department, but I served in the Accounts department. He is the only contact I still have/know in the company.

Question: Is it ok for him to sign the reference letter considering the NOC 1111 (Financial Auditors and accountants) I am claiming points for?

They are truly overwhelmed, my husband acknowledgement email came in February 13 after sending all documents since January 16 or so and we just got his ECA report on Sunday

No need for ECA bro, ur Canadian MSc is ok.

As long as IELTS is still valid, i.e less than 2 years old you can use it. But bear in mind, it must still be valid when submitting your PR application (that's post ITA)

Bros pls, kindly help a confused brother.

I have looked through the initial pages thinking I could get a detailed step by step information about the application from A to Z.

But the more I check, the more confused I get. can you pls explain the step by step detail of applying through express entry.

I found out that one of the first things to do is..IELTS. I just registered for that and should be writing the test next month.

Please help a confused brother.

Imagine! From my experience, follow-up may be necessary. They didn't acknowledge my transcript until I contacted them last week. It stayed with them for about 7/8 days until I got documentary confirmation from my school.

Upon faxing them with evidence of delivery, they replied within 24 hours and acknowledged my completed application.

You need to write IELTS and also get your degree(s) evaluated before you can get in the EE pool.

Thanks for all your time and love.
