Though am not a fan of the Buhari government
Truth be told
,Magu is the best guy for the job of Efcc chairman

His recovery of stolen funds has made him step on powerful toes, who are fighting back by trying to remove him from his post using the DSS and our corrupt legislators
Buhari should use all his powers to keep Magu as Efcc Chairman
The point is that the SSS report to Buhari, so how come a body that reports to the presidency is fighting against the nomination of the presidency? And what did the presidency do the first time it happened?

It is only a Cow that will renominate magu for same efcc job when he has been rejected twice by the Nigerian senate, which is the legislative arm of government. this has never happened in Nigeria except in this govt being ruled by cows .

I think the lawyers are right. The DSS is part of the presidency and for the second time the Senate has based their judgement on the DSS report. It clearly go on to show that Buhari is not in charge as it was said before. This kind of trend may deprive him the chance for coming out in 2019. Or else Nigerians will continue to suffer.

The money he recovered but cannot account for. He was asked by the senators: Like how much efcc has recovered so far? His answer: I don't have an idea. How can we then be sure the money is not being stolen as they were recovered when there is no accountability.

The truth is that Buhari does not want Magu. He is just playing games. Buhari is known to play games indirectly. he does not want Magu but he wants it to look like it is the Senate that is the problem. Do you expect the Senate to confirm him with DSS indictment? Or is he telling me he did not read the report before it got to the Senate? Who is in charge of this country sef?

So out of over 130million people, only him is qualified? So assuming he dies now, nobody will head efcc?
Since he's still alive why shouldn't he lead? Why must we look for someone else.

cry If Magu himself is a honourable man, he would have rejected the second offer or do everything in his power to clear himself of those SSS allegations. But what did he do? Suggested a presidential inquiry panel where they drunk themselves and cleared him of all wrong doing. Those who live in glass houses, seriously, shouldn't have stones
But the DSS have never called him to come and clear himself.

They aren't a court of law or a judicial arm. It's conventional that before confirmation of such positions by the Senate, a background intelligence must be gathered to ascertain the 'moral' qualification of such a candidate for that office. Magu has a dubious background judging from the heavy allegations levelled against him by the SSS. The Magu I know would have charged SSS for libel had he not been capable

If anybody doesn't know by now that it's either Buhari that is behind the rejection of Magu or Buhari is not mentally sound to lead again and is being manipulated by those around him

I don't knw y ppl are crying foul over this, when our institutions do their jobs we complain, when they do not we still complain. Which way my ppl?
Is it not the responsibility of the senate to ensure that whoever is nominated for any post, has the skills, experience and integrity to man such an office? Please, let the president nominate someone else. We have a thousand and one Nigerians out there who can even outperform Mr Magu.

When you come of age then you can have a say in these matters. Until then learn to read and understand.

Haha my opinion and yours doesn't mean anything to the Senate and I'm sure you've come of age so why not try and visit the chamber and make your point there instead of giving advice on a faceless social media platform to make yourself feel accomplished.
