PMB is trying to act like a democrat by allowing everyone do there job and not interfaring in the affairs of any office.But honestly speaking,Nigeria isn't ripe for such approach cos too many corrupt elements will bank on it to misbehave.If Senators refuse to confirm Magu simply because of unsubstantiated allegation by DSS,then Saraki and Ekweremadu are not fit to be SP,and DSP so are other senators with various allegations hanging on their neck.
Let Buhari simply re-nominate him for another screening just to buy time,or simply leave him there to remain in acting capacity until the president finds suitable replacement,that can evn be till 2019.

Seems something is wrong somewhere with one of Buhari, Saraki, or Magu. That is the only thing am certain of.

To Buhari, use your brains. If I were you, I will simply ask EFCC to fire the bums of the guys in DSS. Or I will look for a maddog as Magu's replacement.

If I were Magu, since I won't get the job anyway, I will now look for 6 senators to make scapegoats. It won't be hard to find a thief from each of the geopolitical zones. I will search and search till I find someone who will "whistle".

What we are witnessing are the first shots being fired at PMB in preparation for replacing him in 2019.
From now on, it will be crisis upon crisis, intrigues and plotting, until the INEC blows the whistle for campaigns for the 2019 elections.

The PMB regime is dead but unburied; common Nigerians will suffer the smell of its decaying corpse.

It even goes beyond that. This battle is like the one that goes on in the bowels of the earth that makes mountains, soil and minerals. Have we ever thought to ourselves why is it that criminals don't just kidnap or kill judges easily to escape sentence or murder policemen to terminate cases or send warning notes to prison wardens to let their felons out....why is it not common..... because one man does not control the system. Because taking out one man does not bring down an institution. Ignorant Nigerians scream that the Legislature is corrupt and that's why they don't want Magu. Equally ignorant people say, 'but there are 200 million Nigerians to take his place', However no one is talking about the EFCC. They don't feel the organisation matters, they don't see its relevance. But that is what matters, the institution. That is why a judge can go home and sleep soundly at night knowing that even if he doesn't wake up, the criminal will never go free. The more the EFCC is tied to Magu, the weaker it gets.

Nigerians should educate themselves to raise their mentality to the degree of quality they expect of living in this country.
