The South-East chapter of the All Progressives Congress on Monday said the Federal Government has challenged it to deliver the five states in the zone to the party by 2019.

The APC National Vice-Chairman, South-East, Emma Eneukwu, disclosed this during the inauguration of zonal disciplinary and fundraising/finance committees in Enugu.

Eneukwu said the quest to deliver the South-East to the party would commence with the governorship election in Anambra State, scheduled to hold on November 18, 2017.

“We have a little challenge in the South-East; this present (federal) government has challenged us to prove that we are part of this country.

“We have been pushed to the edge where we will prove that an Igbo man is a very special person in this country.

“The challenge is to ensure that we deliver the entire South-East to the APC, starting from the governorship election in Anambra State,” Eneukwu said while inaugurating the committees.

It was observed that the two committees were replete with former Peoples Democratic Party members.

The fundraising/finance committee include a former member of the House of Representatives, Nweke Gbazueagu, a former PDP chairman in Imo State, Chief Marcel Nlemigbo, and a former Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Stanley Ohajuruka, among others.

A former member of the House of Representatives, Uche Onyeagocha, and a former Labour and Productivity Minister, Emeka Nworgu, are part of the disciplinary committee.

As far as I m concerned, there is no difference between PDP and APC.

All of them has no clear ideology on how to be different from the other
That's why they shamelessly migrate from one party to the other in desperate and selfish pursuit of money and relevance.

Other regions in the country might be fools and fall for APC's humbuggery, but One particular region isn't buying and that is south-east, souuth-south.

APC are only interested in grabbing power. It has no interest adding value to the lives of people.

Capturing the SE is impossible for APC. Their only hope of doing this is to use federal might and funds to rig elections.

To get hold of a monkey, you either act like it or you use banana to your advantage. Nd'igbo is the most emotional group of people I know; it takes very little to impress them. So , I foresee apc taking over the SE with the right price.

shut up dia! It is harder for a camel to eat than it is for apc to capture the SE. All you need is garri and akpu in every household, and you'd begin to sing , 'apc till forever'. In fact, if apc impress you guys, it might get to a time whereby you'd have that for a heir to get to the traditional stool or to be coronated as a king, he'll have to read a line from apc constitution before he can be qualified for the throne.
