A Nigerian father and medical doctor who is frustrated that his efforts in bringing up his children in a moral way has been jeopardised with the continued broadcast of the Big Brother Naija reality TV show has filed a case against the show.

In court papers exclusively obtained by LailasBlog.com, Dr Olusola Omoju is seeking an injunction that restrains broadcast of the reality show on DSTV and GoTV pending determination of the suit.

In it, Dr Olusola alleges that Multichoice introduced the Big Brother Naija channel, aired adverts for the reality shows which he says promotes indecency, immorality and obscenity and included it on his bouquet without his consent.

That as a result of the inclusion in his bouquet, his family members and other dependents became avid watchers of the Big Brother Naija show and are now being influenced negatively through the
continued broadcast of the show.

He agrees that Multichoice usually introduces a special code to enable subscribers choose whether they want access to show or not but adds that this practice was not continued this year.

Well, I really don't like the stupid big brother show but this court case may not change anything.

There's the parental control feature that he can use to control viewing and if that doesnt work, he can fully opt out of DSTV or suspend his subscription for the duration of big brother.

He's not under any compulsion to watch.

I dont support the BB show cos it has nothing good to offer except promoting immorality but Mr. Docky, are u no longer the head of ur family? Why cant u lay down rule prohibiting the viewership in ur own home. There is also parental control on the remote, kindly lock the channel. if u are suing the Multichoice for BBN then dont stop at suing World wide web for having pornographic material on the internet which i'm pretty sure ur children have direct access.

This is a misplaced priority Mr. Docky, charity begins at home. If u dont want ur children to watch indecent scenes on the screen, teach them to be Godly, tell them about the implication of watching it and how it can affect their lives. Tell ur wife to teach them sex education cos to be candid u cant really stop the children of nowadays from viewing indecent materials cos if they dont see it on ur screen, they will definitely see it from their friends fone or the internet. Emphasis should be placed on teaching them about the topic not going through length and breath of suing multichoice for a mere BBN when the undiluted version are lying around aimlessly in the society.

Nigeria is the ONLY country where South Africans attacks its citizens in xenophobic attacks, then jail its citizens under house arrest for months in a building called Big Brother House and the citizens due to 'konjitivitis' suck dick in public, display boobs and have sex in darkness but which is filmed on cameras with night vision to the public all for the enjoyment of South Africans and others who laugh at the baboons scrambling to make N25m which is just $50,000, not even up to Pogba or Ronaldos salary for one single match played.
