Meet Welsh singer, Shirley Bassey. You probably don't know her, but I am sure you would have heard her songs before. She is responsible for three James Bond theme songs...Goldfinger (1964), Diamonds Are Forever (1971), and Moonraker (1979). Her mother was English, and her Father was Nigerian. I chose to use a picture of her from the year she sang Diamonds Are Forever to capture that moment. Apart from Paul McCartney's 'Live and Let Die' theme song, I think she is my all time favorite when it comes to Bond theme song singers. She celebrated her 80th birthday two months ago. I celebrate her today.
