Good evening house,

I intend travelling to Canada on vacation with my family(myself, wife and son and my mother-in-law). my wife is also heavy and we intend to have the baby in Canada. i am self employed(sport betting business) and i also have a registered company which i use in doing my business. i have been in the business for about 4 years now with over 15 outlets and with over 100 employees. my only travel history is to Dubai sometime last year and its same history for my wife and son. my agent has been able to book some activities for me and also hotel reservation, we are also using this opportunity to attend some seminars which has been booked also. my company statement of account for 6months very okay by all standards with a fixed deposit running. my main issue now is with tax clearance which is part of the document i am suppose to submit. i do not have tax clearance and my wife will be due first week in July.. i need help/advice please

Every registered and functional company should have a valid TCC. This is a proof that you're shouldering your statutory responsibility to your country. TCC is a vital, if not compulsory requirement for every self-employed/business owner applying for a visa. Please don't mind how much it will cost you to process it. You may visit the nearest FIRS office for guide and advice.

Good day House mates,

I intend to apply for a Canadian visiting Visa for vacation slated for July 2017.

I once applied online back in England and got a reply a day later (it was indeed a quick visa application) but got rejected due to no ties in UK and Nigeria.

I am thinking of processing online visa application from Nigeria, I would like to know the duration of the application, do i need to send in my international passport (back in England i didn't send my passport, i upload the bio page and visas got). Is it advisable to go ahead with online or paper?

Please i look forward to a swift reply.

Regards.

Hello House,
Your assistance on here is prompt and awesome, more grease to your elbow.
I have a question, that I would be so happy if swift reaction can be given;
I applied for Canadian Visiting Visa like a month ago, but unfortunately, the visa was deny based on a reason, so painful, they said I didn't answer the application form truthfully, that, I answer No to a question which asked if have been deny a visa before. And sincerely, it was a mistake, not intentional. My inquiry, wish to re apply immediately, because the refusal letter gave room for that. So, want to ask the guru in the house, should I do Sworn Affidavit to explain my self about the mistake? Please kindly assist.

Secondly, should I re apply immediately or I should give some time? My visiting period is June ending.

Thirdly, my International Passport is expiring December 2017, should I renew it before I re apply or I should go ahead.

Many Thanks.

In as much as i would like to think it should not affect your chances, you cant be to careful. It kinda looks like someone desperate to enter Canada. Why not give it time before reapplying. Just my two cents tho. Some people may have different opinions on this issue. All the best.

Reasons?
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by chccho(m): 12:26pm On Mar 23, 2017
dotcomnamename:

Reasons?

Travel History ( I used to travel to the US and UK in the past but not in the last 10yrs)

Purpose of visit (I attached a purpose of visit letter, invitation letter from my host in Canada who is a permanent resident and also a notice of annual leave from my office)

Ties to home country and in canada (I submitted my company registration docs, company statement of account for a year)

So what else do they want? The VO said he/she isn't convinced that I would return to Nigeria after being issued a TRV

The upper year We got married in Nigeria. We have been married for a year and few months. She send me a letter of invitation, and some few documents.

How will someone fill your form for you, and you won't know what's in the form

Mind you Canada and the US DO SHARE INFORMATION.

Try your luck and fill your form by yourself and be honest, even if you are denied, the next application will still be consistent. Don't lie about your US Visa denial.
