Speculators and hoarders and looters --- how market? Your wealth has dwindled from 520 to less than 400/$ right in your selfish eyes.

CBN please keep driving the Naira towards 300. As long as Nigeria is selling Crude Oil, it is very sustainable, while our Foreign Reserve is also increasing gradually. Bad news to haters.

Don't mind all those selfish and greedy bastards.

They feed on other people's blood and they call it business.

It was all along a deliberate tax on Nigerians.

Election campaign has started subtly.

Billions have been made. Some pockets are seriously heavy now.

Nigerians quickly forget pain, till they are punished again.

When will it be 197 to the dollar and inflation drop to under 10%? If this yeye govt achieve that by 2019, we will forgive them while sending them away.
I don't understand why you guys are bitter about this. I consider this a great achievement. Besides, the Dollar didn't leap from 198 to over 500. It's a gradual thing. We shall get there, slowly but steadily.

I think there's a name for this kind of strategy. where a new Government make things worse at first, and then makes it better.

so the dumb and gullible electorate start to sing their praises forgetting how the same government made them go through hell.

I'm damn sure there's a name for this strategy.

Wow, this is nice. I desperately hope they can sustain this and flood the market with dollars to the extent that dollars will become like tissue paper. Lol.

Prices of goods in the market won't fall immediately due to individual greed.

But hopefully, market forces will force them down when some smart ones realize that they can actually make a killing by dropping their own prices.

The buying and hoard Dollars that caused the problem was also an artificial problem. Its a matter of who has more money CBN or greedy speculator...You guess is as good as mine, its the guys (CBN) with 30 Billion for the account...lol

How market? village speculators who are feeling like Goldman Sachs...lolz

The hoarding and speculation were also artificial in nature without any economic inducer.

OBJ used the same strategy for 8years and he built our Foreign Reserves from $3bn to 43bn with another $12bn in Excess Crude a/c.

The strategy will build foreign investors confidence with the growing reserves while meeting immediate dollar needs by CBN will help to curtail inflation and prices of goods as at today, while still guaranteeing productive activities of the manufacturing companies.

It was once 1 dollar to 1 Naira.
Please show me one government that reversed the negative decline of the Naira.
