bantudra:that's what I have been trying to make you understand. The ports are not functioning. The government made it so. If those ports were working, I don't know if people would prefer to use a far away port rather than a close by port. |

k199192:didnt i just said people make things work??... it doesnt make sense to blame the government for human nature and instincts.. i already told you that lagos is a age old financial hub center like the one in egypt... lagos is the hub for the entire africa..the one in cairo is the hub for north africa and the middle-east bordering the ones in turkey and to the borders of india... this are financial dynamics that nobody can realy control... if 1000 igbo business men deceide to make those ports in the east work, their is no way the government can stop them...how??..at gun point??.. ?? ..but the question remains, would it profit them at the end?? |

richeeyo:This is the problem of black man. Instead of him to enlighten everyone with his knowledge and ideas he will be busy looking for economics teacher that died. Our problem is beyond bad leaders. Our problem is the black man. Now, please kindly task your black mans brain and tell us why it is wrong to deplete our foreign reserves. |

bantudra:when you don't understand something you try to learn. Don't resolve to insults... In everything I wrote, did you see one mention of biafra or kanu or ipob. You cannot learn like this.... It's a shame. |
| Re: External Reserves Drop For First Time Since December by Ibime(m): 12:36am On Mar 24, 2017 |
Emassive:I know how the ECA was unbundled. OBJ was there 8 years and nobody unbundled. Oga Jona used it to buy the Governor's support for 2011 elections. That's how the ECA was unbundled. Even if we accept this pittypatty weak willed excuse, where is FGs 50% share? Save your story for the political newcomers. I was here following on New Year's day 2010 when Jonathan opened the account to buy the Governor's support. In the dead of night when everyone was out throwing knockout and fireworks, they started sharing the savings that OBJ had guarded fastidiously for 8 years. |

| Re: External Reserves Drop For First Time Since December by naijaking1: 6:41am On Mar 24, 2017 |
Ibime:You mean how some smart governors like Amaechi and Fashola forced GEJ to unbundle the booty? Sure GEJ was 'weaker' than OBJ in terms of dealing with governors, but please don't minimize the roles of these 2 thieving governors turned Buhari saviors. |

naijaking1:Governor cannot force President to do anything. Force ko, force ni. Governors have been asking for ECA since time immemorial. All the Governors need do is ask as usual and a weak President needing them to rig upcoming elections for him was more than happy to oblige. Where is FGs 50% share? |
