Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that the Super Eagles will hold their final training session on Wednesday evening ahead of tomorrow’s crucial friendly against Senegal.

The training is scheduled to begin at 1630 hours and only manager Gernot Rohr can determine how long the session will last.

Depending on the weather condition, the national team will have a feel of the Hive Stadium pitch, venue of the friendly match, or the pitches outside.

German tactician Rohr and his lieutenants will observe a minimum of eighteen players at today’s workout following the arrival of Elderson Echieijile and Olarenwaju Kayode at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Tuesday.

Goalkeepers Akpeyi and Ezenwa, Oghenekaro Etebo, Uche Agbo, Kingsley Madu and Musa Mohammed were yet to report to camp as at the time of this report.

On Tuesday, the Senegalese squad started their preparations at the Hive Stadium for the international friendly against Nigeria in unfavorable weather conditions.

Of the 26 invited players, only sixteen have arrived in camp, with the remaining ten stranded in Paris because of lack of visas to the United Kingdom.

They were hoping to pick up the visas same day the applications were submitted, Monday, but the British Embassy in Paris informed the delegation that it takes a minimum of three days before the traveling document can be processed.

The Senegalese Federation are hoping that Diao Keita Baldé, Moussa Wagué, Saliou Ciss, Kara Mbodj, Babacar Khouma, Ismael Sarr, Pape Seydou Ndiaye and Adama Mbengue and Pape Alioune Ndiaye will be issued visas on Wednesday before linking up with the squad.

Ex-France U20 international Abdoulaye Diallo was the only goalkeeper that took part in training on Tuesday.

Whereas the Senegalese have had more than 4 games this year 2017having been part of the AFCON 2017 were they narrowly lost out in the semifinals to the eventual winners Cameroon.

The match today is supposed to serve as a ton up match for the next round of qualifies for AFCON and the 2018 world cup. However it tends to offer more than a friendly as both teams will be looking to avoid defeat.

On current FIFA ranking Senegal goes into the game as the boss, as they are ranked number one in Africa. However Nigeria will be out to prove book makers wrong as they brags to be the authentic giants of African football.

Also history seems to favour Nigeria as they have won more game in the entire contest between the two power houses of West African football. But then this has never been on the platter of gold as the Taranga lions have always prove to be a very stubborn opponent.
In 1992 in Daker at the opening game of the AFCON it took the brilliance of Keshi and Siasia for Nigeria to beat the Jules Bocande lead team 2-1.

I am not sure that any tv station is planning to show the game here in the US. I have been checking all of them (Bein Sport, FSC, NBCSN, and all the ESPN channels) program line up since last week....but no luck
