Until he got to the last point of placing the balls, he was the fastest. What difference would it have made if he finished at 01:03? Bassey would still be the winner. What about the Ultimate Head of House, he won. It takes smartness to devise a tactics to picking the balloons carrying all the required letters. At times, someone can be overwhelmed by a quaking tension to win a game.
It doesn't still reduce his chances of winning the ultimate prize.
