From the way the points have been dropping, you should get an ITA soon with 426. You dnt need to withdraw your Profile. You should get an ITA in the next one or two draws. Just start gathering your documents and proof of funds. Your 3years of being a finance officer gives you the maximum point for that category and with a CLB 8 in your IELTS, that is also very good so just give it sometime.

Hi..I'm a newbie here....pls I'd love some clarification on the following:

1) For the POF, if I decide to use FD, does it have to be up to 6 months old too? Reason is because I will be moving some money from my GTB account to Stanbic to make up the full amount required and then fix it.

2) To submit the EE profile, for my educational history, should I go by what is on my ECA report or just state the normal length of study? e. g, I finished my 5yr Computer Science degree in 6yrs due to strike and all, but my ECA report says it's a 4yrs bachelor's degree. My masters degree was also completed in 3yrs while the ECA just has 'Masters Degree'

3) For the transcripts to be uploaded later on after ITA, does it have to be on the school letter head (like what was sent to WES ) or can I submit my normal 'student copy' result print-out signed and stamped by the HOD?

THANKS

yes u have a good chance. Just make sure u have an adequate skill/job experience and reference for the chosen NOC.
read and digest page 0 of this thread , then read all other subsequent pages.
in summary u need to get an eca, ace your ielts, create a profile and enter d pool.
cheers.

Whether you chose NOC 0124 or NOC 1123 you wont get any points. It is your years of experience that give points.Ensure that the NOC you choose corresponds with what will be in your reference letter to afford a mismatch of job titles and job function

No additional points if u do both, cos it's highest that's required. However, I read an article somewhere where David Cohen advices that the more certs u evaluate, the better. Can't remember the reasons he gave for now. But it's all up to you to do both or not. Funds too is an issue

dannio has graciously answered this querry. NOC type in itself doesn't give points rather ,the number of years in whatever NOC does....so try and choose whichever of the two that has a closer match to your reference letter.

I intend to send the statement of both accounts, but the addresses on both of them are different. the joint account has my current address which I filled in the application and the personal account has my previous house address. im yet to update the address information on the account. will this affect my chances or should I just regularize the house address information on my personal account before i print the statement

None really. You can do both if convenient, bu if BSc school could slow you down by any chance, you should do MSc alone as you will still get the max required points.

Hello guys, good thread you have on here, big task reading through the entire thread. Eye wan pop out. I have a few grey areas i need help with:

1. Letter of non-indebtedness/Letters of Reference - I know the banks write these for customers at a fee. WHO SHOULD THIS LETTER BE ADDRESSED TO. The banks will not write this unless it is addressed to someone. Should it be addressed to CIC or??
2. Proof of employment: Is it OK to have this document as a "To Whom it may Concern"
3. There was a mistake in my date of birth on my WAEC Result. This was picked up by WES. I have begun the process of rectifying this with WAEC and i am currently waiting for the change to be made. However, i have attached my WAEC result as it is, with my UNI Certs, copy of my birth certificate and sworn affidavit used for processing the change. Will this suffice? Anyone had the same issue in the past? Doi need to include a letter of explanation for this reason?
4. Do i need to attach copies of my IELTS and WES certificates to my eAPR?
5. I seem to have misplaced my original UNI Cert and just have the scanned copies. Will this be requested by CIC at any point? Anyone have this experience?
6. How many months of bank statement is required? I know it is not cast in stone, but what time frame is prudent?
7. Any ideas on how to pay the fees? I don't think any Nigerian debit cards can transact such amounts. Any leads on this?

You would most likely have to find someone abroad that can help with his/her international card or get dollars from the parallel market and open a dorm account here in Nigeria and used the card attached to the account.

Boldinc answered all your questions correctly. But why did you have to submit waec to wes when you have a degree? Age discrepancy is a huge red flag to CIC. Is the age on your waec result younger than the age on your passport? Did WES put the age disparity on your ECA? If they didn't, pls don't submit your waec result to CIC unless the mistake has been rectified. If the did, rectify the mistake and attach a sound LOE.

6314: Customer service representatives supervisor-Financial services looks like it, in my opinion. Just confirm that it is among category 0, A and B under NOC.

Hello
please I have some urgent questions

1) Is there anything wrong with having an existing loan at the time of submitting the application post ITA or is it that you shouldn't have any current loans at all, even if it doesn't relate to the proof of funds?
2) Since we are being asked to show evidence of where the funds came from do we still need to have the money in the account 6 months before. I will only have the full money in my accounts by the week, will this be a problem?

what is the best option to apply and meet up with scores requirement if you have only a BSC and 5 years experience with IELTS of 7 band and married. It seems without masters there is no way to meet the required score, am i right?

I tried to calculate this several times using different calculator online, returned different result.

Please advise if someone of my profile could apply to the pool directly.

Thanks

What's your CRS score? You could rewrite IELTS and aim for at least 8 in Listening and Reading. You score will jump considerably but maybe not so much to get you an ITA.

No issues

Include a notarized gift deed (search the thread for samples) and add a comprehensive LOE

Once you have more than 400 even if CIC cutoff doesn't drop that low, u still have hope of getting a LOI from Ontario for provincial nomination.
