And here naira exchange 380 to a dollar. Yet things are explicitly expensive. Wankers!
Because Nigerians are greedy and we import almost everything we consume even toothpick, Pencil etc we import them..

Market men and women will take advantage of dollar rise and increase price of Garri, Red oil, Yam etc...

Cost of living in SK is not high ....900$would b OK for u for one month .....Nd their are excessive jobs in Korea .....I tink their birth rate is extremely lower let's 0.9 is the average ...and after China Nd Japan comes south Korea based on the living aspect ...in south Korea has more works Nd offers more jobs Dan Japan Nd China most Chinese come to Korea to study,Nd work.they are actually better Dan most European countries wit the exception of Germany, UK,France, Italy.
CarlosTheJackal:
It's not the way you see it. South Korea Won is about 2000 to a dollar but the cost of living there is very high

What are you trying to say? From your own link

From 1980 to April 12, 2009 Zimbabwean dollar was the official currency of Zimbabwe. As a result of political disorder and the collapse of the economy, the Zimbabwean dollar having currency code ZWD (symbol: Z$) is no longer in exchange and flow. http://life-in-saudiarabia..my/2015/07/zimbabwe-dollar-worlds-weakest-ever.html

Demonetization means it's no longer a legal tender. Hence, not in circulation.

Re: Top 10 Weakest Currencies In The World 2017 by einsteine(m): 10:57am On Mar 26, 2017
The nominal value of a currency has no correlation with economic success. It is the stability of the currency that matters. Two of the countries in that list(Indonesia and Iran) have economies bigger than Nigeria's and Vietnam is also a rapidly developing country. So the "weakness" of their currency has not stopped their economies from growing.

*facepalm*

Jonathan left 530 and that was 2015.

Economy started growing in negative which made nigeria to lose biggest economy to south africa in 1st quarter of 2016 after it was rebased in dollars.
Nigeria regained its position back in 3rd quarter of 2016 after re basing but was put at 480billion dollars due to the recession.
nigerianpilot.com/nigeria-regains-position-africas-biggest-economy-new-imf-report/

With current development going on in nigeria, nigerian economy should be close to 700billion to 1 trillion dollars by 2022.

Be doing face palm there, instead of you to Google. Rebasing was done by the NBS in 2014. Maybe people like you knew in 2015. The $530 figure was in fact for 2013. And wtf, do you mean Rebasing in dollars?

Do you even know what it means to rebasehuh

Citations please. And not Nigerian newspapers. In which planet does s/Africa have a higher GDP than Iran and on what basis? Purchasing Power Parity or nominal? In nominal terms, Iran's economy is bigger than Nigeria's. Nigeria's economy is only bigger than Iran's when ranked on PPP basis.

South Korea is better economic-wise than Nigeria yet they have a weak currency. $1 - 1117won.
