Hauler Reveals He Transported Saraki’s Range Rover Intercepted By Customs From His Ikoyi Home

A haulage driver named Ojo Aloba has stated that he was hauling the Range Rover imported for use by Senate President Bukola Saraki before officers of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) intercepted and seized the vehicle. In addition to seizing the Range Rover, reportedly for irregularities related to the use of fake documents to significantly reduce the import duty for the car, the customs officers also impounded Mr. Aloba’s haulage truck.

But was the car impouded by Custom if yes what is the reason. I know the Committee will not ask this question.

Nigerians should just wakeup.... Some countries and sitting and debating on how to stop using fuel and graduate to solar powered cars and also debating on new technologies and improvement of their country even when they are already developed but our senates will sit to debate on whether someone should wear uniform like that of the custom or sitting to debate on if saraki who has a pending case since past two years which is overlooked imported cars.... Nothing is missing,differentiate between the NASS and the senate president.The vendor has stated his case,now we await that of the customs to throw more light on this issue.

Yeah, it is not. The issue is about underpayment of custom duty on the imported vehicle and not who imported it or who it was imported for.
