Thorium is nuclear fuel. A very interesting thing that makes nuclear power attractive – a million times more energy than conventional fuel. The Thorium, suitably tapped is very safe and a very clear source of power. The idea of using nuclear power to fuel cars is just amazing. If your car was powered by thorium, you would never need to refuel it, because the thorium would last so long. It would probably outlive you. A company called Laser Power Systems has created a concept for a thorium powered car engine. Thorium is a naturally occurring radioactive chemical element, so the team uses bits of it to build a laserbeam that heats water, produces steam, and powers an energy-producing turbine. The car powered by Thorium could run for 100 years on just 8 grams of fuel. Check it out! Source: https://gabrielatanbiyi..com.ng/2017/03/thorium-powered-vehicles-could-run-for.html

Beautiful car, nice concept but a bad idea. What happens if the vehicle has a very serious accident and the radio active power source gets damaged (breaks open) releasing its contents directly into the environment? For now this is a no-no. |

Yeah I saw that vehicle when me and my buddies, James Kirk, and Mr Spock went to Vulcan engineering exhibition |

maxxx:That is why its has a Laser Beam Turbine |

I dont support the idea...except there is already a solution for accident cases |
