Abacha was one of the best leaders Nigeria ever had, he wanted to be to Nigeria what Gaddafi was to Libya. The US killed him and who better to make president than OBJ whom Abacha imprisoned for being part of a coup to take power from him and use the media to finish the man's legacy. Oil was 11 Dollar per barrel coupled with sanctions by the Western powers I still find it miraculous how he was able to run the country and have so much savings.
