An official of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) was on Friday attacked by some angry tricycle riders at Allen avenue area of Ikeja, the state’s capital.

According to reports, the LASTMA official was chasing a tricycle rider who allegedly didn't obey the traffic light. It was during the process that the man's "keke maruwa" fell by the roadside.

The angry driver who narrowly escaped death then came out of his tricycle and descended on the LASTMA official. Other tricycle riders who witnessed the incident also joined him.

First of all, the tricycle riders are totally wrong. They shouldn't have taken laws into their hands

But for those guys to defy all odds and beat up that official shows that they must have had enough of his misbehaviours
