2dugged:The cmd is evil, he says govt is stupid for paying health workers much. He thinks what govt pays its workers is too much. He returns money back to govt cofers meant to pay legitimate salaries. Workers there have been trying to access their salaries of 2013, 2016 illegally returned to the treasury just to punish the staff for exposing him to efcc in 2013 when he was arrested |

That hospital is a mess. I was taken there sometime last year and I had to leave with immediate effect due to poor condition of treatment. |

9jakohai:My brother can I buy you a cold bottle of beer? You got it. Apart from taxes every soul in Germany who works pays for health insurance. I pay 180€ per month!!! That's equivalent to 72,000 naira per month! Just yesterday my health insurance provider told me that if my salary should increase they will increase the rate. For those who do not need to use the hospital here you must still pay it. That's the norm here. Its so strict that if you don't have health insurance you won't be given resident permit. We get good healthcare abroad because we pay so much for it. Imagine you want to travel to common India for a simple surgery, you will cough out millions for your medical bills. Bottom line is good, quality healthcare is not cheap. For Nigeria's healthcare to be better people must be ready to either pay more in cash or by insurance and also those at the helm must be accountable for monies in the hospital purse. |

Una never taya? You beg for extension dem no give una, den this? Finish ur residency and go!!! In 8years, una don petition against CMD over 1million times even EFCC don taya. Una no read literature abi? the boy who cried wolf? Uniben reduce salaries by 20percent world no end. Na only una no de see recession. U hear say Dino don allow budget 2017 pass? The dearth of facilities is related to funding as you well know which your endless petitions and name calling truncates because every penny has to be investigated. The same UBTH wey una de shout get functioning generator wey pass Luth own!!! Since these unsubstantiated petitions started, Ubth funding has retarded. Next time, Post ward number..A1,A2,M1 etc when you want to prove your case!!! Do you remember when Okowa visited as a serving senator? Petitions every week, when baseless and without proof does not serve the common good. Work together and seek improved funding!!!!!!!!!! Have you been to Luth ![]() |

WHEN you petition 500 times and the petitions dont hold water, excess funds are returned. Besides, if you listen to any news, you would know ALL federal ministries and parastatals return to consolidated revenue fund any excess money before people like you claim the money is being embezzled. ask Aunty Kemi!! omogin: |

esene1:What is this one saying. Your sponsor was arrested in 2013 for fraud by efcc. Stealing hospital funds and as much as 40% of some workers salaries, not to mention the several ghosts he was paying. Are you claiming ignorance. The chief accountant then was sacrificed for your corrupt principal to be let off the hook even when his political godfathers in the ruling party then, held sway in Abuja. Let me assure you that he will not escape jail. When you steal too much, you inevitably leave many loose ends When you murder sleep, your eyes have to remain wide open |

Nigerians must learn fact based reporting. Too often these days, we seem to derive joy from deriding and pulling down seemingly more fortunate people. What we should learn from Sahara, Otobo, Kemi Olu...whatever is that there is a law in Nigeria.. the law requires you to prove your case. Do not go about casting lies up and down then begging at night... If you kids dont learn, your names and roles would also be published like MBBS exams.. |

Shame! Mighty UBTH and indeed the general health system in Nigeria is in shambles. This place is a mess. We appreciate the efforts of these medical practitioners to sanitize UBTH which is within their sphere of influence. I wish other teaching hospitals in Nigeria and the government in general will declare a state of emergency in the health sector. So many shady and commercial Shylocks operating in the system with thousands dying daily in our hospitals as result of general inefficiency in our country. |

omogin:The consultants can't do much except those in mgt like HOD, CMAC, Deans, etc so they hope that the CMD tenure expires and a "better" one takes over but alas most times the "worse" takes over. |

esene1:This is not about salary, it's about incompetent leadership in healthcare institutions. You just concluded am a ubth staff lol. Who is the minister of health, who heads the ministry of health, who advises govt on healthcare programmes and policies? When a king continues to mistreat the community he meant to lead and protect, you should find out who's advising him and kind of advice he gets You should ask your leaders what they think they are doing because its either they don't know or they are deliberately sacrificing Nig in the hospitals. Aren't you ashamed of the kind of theatres shown in those pictures that looks like abbatoirs? |

It's common news.check the HR dept for the adjusted names for houseofficers for last year. I was one of them that year. Thank God most of us all declined. Shitty UBTH. |
