The evolvement of microfinance banks in Nigeria have overtime stabilised and well stimulated into the business and banking industry. Numerous MFBs have been registered and operating in Nigeria with different mode of operations, services and charges. Though they are all regulated by the CBN. Businesses have been able to expand and survive the harsh economy with the help of these services. However, most businesses have collapsed as a result of these funds, affecting both the business and the bank(overindebtedness) Poor planning, fund diversion and mismanagement of fund have plagued loan servicing.
