For vertical oscillatn, hold both ends of metre rule. With it, pull one end forward & the other end backward, allow(remove ur hands) to oscillate.

Check this movement,,if pendulum Bob is moving like dat manner in the picx,thats vertical movement,because the movement is moving to the vertical axis

the value of V starts from 1.6 while that of I starts from 0.6.the highest value of I is not up to 1.my results tell me that.it was confirmed from waec website that my readings are correct

in 2011,students were asked to evaluate log V and Log I .from the table,all d values of log I are negative because log 0.5 will give negative valuyand so on. disregard what u c in series

The instruction states that

"....then release so that it oscillates about a vertical axis through its centre.."

What is meant by vertical axis is the point from where the rope is tied to the retort stand and used to suspend the metre rule. This is straight forward

V will be greater than I. But, i disagree for values of V: 2.5- 5.0. And that of I: 0.2, 0.2. Remember, those are theoritical values, no running down ba3 as in the case of practical.

Q1 is the hardest, I would advise one go for Q2 & 3. Q2 is the simplest. Q1 & 3 are logical.

EMF can never be 2.5v because we we were told to use two batteries. a battery has 1.5v therefore two batteries have 3.0v

for L=80cm, my t=14.25s, as L decreases, the time taken to complete 10 oscillations also decreases
