Dangote this dangote that, the man has used his heavy duty trucks to vandalized our Nigerian roads and nobody is saying anything he has not contributed a dime to our Education section or Health all he does is taking advantage of Nigerians by exploiting us, and monopolize the Economy of Nigeria how can one man be the major importer of most of the things we used is wrong Nigerians needs to wake up and open their eyes to the reality...

The truth is that while he was using his head most of our parents where using their eyes and busy complaining about everything. Bro/sis make use of every opportunity, Nigeria is a very good market.

He should be taxed heavily with the system of pay as you earn so that the money can be used to fixed our roads and inferstructures he should not be left alone get more richer while other Nigerians are getting more poorer.,

It means you will be paid (0.60*1000) - (10% of (0.60*1000)) = N540 only grin grin grin
= (600) - (10% of (600))
= 600 - 60
= 540

The 10% deduction is for tax.

You have 1 car, you pay N1000 per annum as tax for using the roads. Similarly, Dangote has 5000 lorries, he pays N15 million annually as tax to use the road. In essence, DAngote has the same right as you to use that road; Dangote is not your government that should fix the educational system or health system or even the roads.... Instead of you to scold the government that collects that tax from you and heavily from Dangote for not using the money to maintain the roads, you are busy blaming Dangote. My broda, that is called misplaced aggression and this one is purely due to the spirit of bad belle.

@CASTRO and @ENGRKAZ

You guys are asking about the maths, here;

1000units of share given 60k declared dividend gives you #600 (ie 0.6 × 1000)

But then you need the price per unit of the shares for the value of the 1000units which was not included by the Op.

Hope it helped.

Dangote keeps smiling to the banks. So are his staff. Good for them.

Unfortunately, REFINED SUGAR contributes to ill-health. People since childhood become addicted to sugar. It's not Dangote's fault! But personal choices. Each person is the architect of his / her own health and that of the family.
