Senator Ndume was not suspended by Senate President Bukola Saraki. He was suspended by the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and as such, the suspension can only be lifted by the same Senate..

Which 100 persons? How many of those idle Senators do you see at plenary when an important bill or any bill at all is being debated on the floor of the Senate? What you see every time the proceeding is aired on television are empty seats and you begin to wonder if it is so in other jurisdictions. And yet, these absentee Senators collect jumbo salaries and allowances at the end of the month for doing practically nothing much to the detriment of Nigeria's economy! These present crop of Senators are the shame of the nation.

@onyii255. This will help you _The Senate has suspended Ali Ndume, its former leader, who had asked for investigation of allegations of importing a bullet proof range rover with fake documents involving Senate President Bukola Saraki and that of perjury involving Dino Melaye.

The Senate reached the decision, Wednesday, after the resolution to uphold the recommendation of the committee on ethics and privileges chaired by Samuel Anyanwu.

He was suspended for six months, instead of one year originally

Saraki: Sai Baba, you should drop all charges the FG currently has against me .

Buhari: If it were up to me, I will do it, but it is beyond my power to free you.

Later...

Buhari: Saraki, hurry up, pass the 2017 budget, confirm Magu's appointment and recall Ndume, back to the Senate.
