Following the outbreak of meningitis in some Nigerian states, Nigerian gay right activist, Bisi Alimi, has taken to Instagram, to admonish Nigerians from relying on anointing oil and holy water this time.

According to him, vaccines is the only way to be cured and protected. Here's what he wrote;

"Please this public announcement is for Nigerians and the outbreak of meningitis. Please anointing oil and holy water will not cure or prevent you from the disease. Vaccines is the only way to be cure and be protected. Please get everyone in your household vaccinated as soon as possible. Thank you"


However the post didn't go down well with some Nigerians, as they're taking turns to call him out for it, while others are on his side.
