PRAY UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS

At some point in our lives, we come to that mountain that seems to defy all odds, in our different capacities we do all we can to overcome or surmount the problem, but it just wouldn’t budge, the mountains come in different forms; financial incapacitation, marital distress, blackmail, joblessness, betrayal, loss of a loved one, business failure, marital delay, false accusation, abandonment, loneliness, etc (I will deliberately leave out the current Economic recession); we engage in a long rigmarole of meaningless exercises which most often than not end in futility, all in a bid to break free from the chains.

Lately, there has been an increase in suicidal attempts in the country, I laugh at so many people here on this forum calling them cowards, I think to myself “just pray you don’t get to that point in your life”,

Our abilities to deal with a given problem are different, we are all born with different default temperaments or dispositions, that is why you see two people suffer the same tragedy, one laughs and moves on giving little or no thought, the other broods over the problem for weeks until it gives birth to depression and consequently….. (You are also free to use MMM crash as a case study)

Now, what if I told you that no matter what you may be going through, no matter the depth you find yourself in that problem, there is a way out, am not talking about half way solutions, or “how I for do?” kind of solution, I am talking about solution given according to your wish, the best part is that it’s all going to take place here on Nairaland, and if you follow me through this program, you will give your praise report here also.

This program is called P.U.S.H (Pray Until Something Happens)

I am giving you one hundred percent assurance that there is nothing impossible for God to do, so even if you are at your wits end, just hold on, the best part is I am also participating.

Warning- this program entails a lot of fasting and midnight prayers, so put on your shoes, and get ready to lose weight, for those who love food so much and think they cannot fast, well maybe you are not tired of your situation, if you are, nobody will tell you to get up and fast.
Today reduce the amount of food you eat drastically, this process of preparing the body will take two to three days, depending on the individual, this is to acquaint you with what is ahead, for those who smoke, please cut down on your cigarette intake, I will not tell you to stop at once because I know that may not be practical (but as time goes on, the Holy Spirit will help you to stop) so do not bother yourself.

Start preparing your mind for the days ahead, because in the beginning of the fast you will experience pain, but remember no pain, no gain.
Tonight meditate on Psalm 51, psalm 86, 1jn4v9&10, 1jn1v9 these are basically verses dealing with repentance which is where we will start from. Read these and any other as the Holy Spirit leads.

So here we are, Day two; No claims being made here about performing miracles, I just want others to benefit from the principles of "continual coming" and “NO is not an option” that has worked times without number in my life.

You are solely responsible for the outcome you achieve from this program, for instance you cannot fornicate during the cause of this exercise or fail to observe the midnight prayers and think you will achieve the same result with someone who did not, sorry no magic here, you must be ready to dedicate this period to God and the Scriptures entirely;

It is expected that we would have our prayers answered at different times and in different ways so the duration this will take cannot really be given, as we have different depths of problems, but the objective is to prove to all participants that it is possible to have your heart’s desire met in line with God’s word.

Along the line you may find some instructions or activities weird, but just know you will never be asked to do anything outside the Holy Bible.
Now for the practical, I had yesterday morning four slices of bread two eggs and water, for lunch/dinner I ate less than the normal quantity of rice with banana, am a little on the big side, I weigh a little over 90kg for me this is a great reduction.

How the Fast is observed would best be determined by the participant, your type of job must be taken into consideration, for me I work in an office so I can afford to stay without food for the whole day,

Tomorrow, from six a.m no food, you can drink water, write a list of your heart's desires and find supporting scriptures that back them, morning prayer for one hour, in this format - praise and worship as the Holy spirit directs, for twenty minutes, prayers of repentance and forgiveness with scriptures backing for fifteen minutes, then your own supplication (what you want God to do for you in this program), for another fifteen minutes, then seal all with praise and worship plus the Blood of Jesus, for ten minutes, that's one hour. This routine will be maintained every morning but there will be slight changes.

I am bringing this up so you will know that people can be used by the Devil to try and make you commit besetting sins, and thereby tampering with the results of your prayers.

All these self suffering and punishment for what? At the end you'd still remain an average citizen in the society. You will still be waiting for Buhari's decision to determine how much u will buy garri. oga, be it money, marital issues, sickness or psychological problems... people need to be proactive and take charge of their life issues. Praying and still mentally trying to resolve ur problems only make the prayer useless.
I am yet to see anyone that prays and not actively work on his challenges.
And you know you lie when you say Holy spirit gives gudiance. people make decision and call it Holy spirit. I have gone through a problem and came up with a solution after thinking hard something similar to what a christian friend had gone through, yet he was quick to call it the holy spirit when he resolved his own issue. What then solved mine since i dont have the holy spirit? If I can solve my issues just as holy spirit can solve yours does it mean i am equal with the holy spirit? why not come and pray to me.
I am yet to see anything special about being a praying and fasting christian, I see me and them having equal opportunities and i am most times better because the waste their time praying and fasting.

why should devil give you a job? I thought u guys said he came to kill steal and destroy, so why should he give anyone any job?

Besides, how do we know when a job is from the devil, God or neutral? I see Christians who say God has given them a job, but some of them are not doing better than me who does not believe in any God.
Why should a whole God, the creator of the universe, the all knowing and all powerful, give you a job and you will be just an average citizen or you will just be rich, still struggling in your daily hustles to maintain that position. there must be something fishy in this bogus claim.

Ask Jesus to strengthen you, in John 15verse5, Jesus said
