I promised to do this once it clicked and behold it clicked.

I had stayed at home for 5 years after graduation that I almost was contemplating suicide. I did menial jobs ranging from Concrete mixer to Building Mason just to survive. Several time I logged in on Nairaland during resting hours and I kept on seeing the skills that could land someone a job by one favorite poster here.

I decided to save up money and learn any of them, so I chose Web Design. From the proceeds of my menial jobs as from last year, I looked out for a company that I could learn the in-depth of the program, and that was also affordable. A friend referred me to IIHT(India Institute) in Lagos.

After I completed my class, we did a project and I came out excellent. They linked me up to one of their partners who offered me a web-manager job. After some months, I got another two job offers to act as a web design instructor in another IT firm.

After comparing Salary (Because of economy) I opted for the foreign firm offer. Right now I just rented my own apartment after three months of working with them.

Who says IT Education is not the easiet way out. of unemployment in Nigeria.?

I had one failure in another firm with Graphics design. So I went for quality teaching.

70k. Some others were offering low, but they will just collect your money and teach you bullshit.

I also learnt at IIHT. I will soon write about the various IT centers and their strengths. I am still compiling facts.

For me, IIHT is great. Well, Indians have good IT skills sha.

They are somewhere at Ojuelegba.under bridge.If you are in Lagos. They concentrate their efforts to give quality instead of spreading around sha.

It was supposed to be for 3 months. But I did "Over sabi" and became a pro before the end date.

So I don't know the happening there.

You can inquire and ask them. I have limited idea now.

Do you think the program would be appropriate for someone like me who has no prior knowledge in web design? Will I be able to master it within three months?
