..The post is to let you know that you just don't quote the two scriptures(bible and quran) anyhow.I was expecting you Christians to come and explain why those bible verses I quoted don't mean a green card to kill people so it can be used to justify the need for you also to search objectively for the explanations to those quran verses which were purposely quoted by the OP to demonize islam from the islamic scholars.

Well in our case those chapters are of historical and reference value. No true Christian would use such verses as it does not belong to our religion. Also my grouse with Islam isn't that it actually encourages terrorism against Jews and Christian(The devil has even used Atheist to kill and try n suppress Christians) but that it teaches a lie. You may believe in God the father, but I tell you that your Prophet said He is God's son and I believe him and you should too. The question now is this would you believe a prophet who lied and claimed to be God's son? Jesus is either who he says he his(God's son) or a liar. Don't say Christians were the ones who fabricated that lie because Jesus had existed 500 years before Islam, hence only Christians can tell the true story of Jesus Christ.

I wouldn't have said anything on this thread but for the issue raised here because it bothers on Aqeedah (Islamic fundamental creed) and it needs to be clarified because of my Muslim brothers and sister.

About isa (Jesus) being called word of God, its not out of tune, it is just a way of honouring him and exalting him (I will explain this at the later part of the post). Allah called the Ka'abah "the house of Allah", any rightfully thinking person would know it doesn't mean He resides there, its just a way of raising it above other houses. Allah called the she-camel of Salih "the she-camel of Allah" I believe we all know it doesn't mean Allah rides it.
Now back to the word of Allah issue, it is stated what the word is clearly in Q19v35 "It is not befitting for Allah to take a son, exalted be He, when he decides a matter, He only says to it Be and it will Be". the verse was revealed in connection to the miraculous birth of Jesus, hence it means when He decided it was time, He said Be! (His word) and Isa was conceived. And Muslims believe that the creation of everything including every human was from the word Be! and we all came to being. hence using the word His word for Jesus doesn't make him god or super human, we believe just like Allah did with other things, it was a way of honouring and exalting him.

I could provide further evidences to support this but would stop here for fear of making it too long

The Quran claimed that Jesus was not killed but that it was only made look so to his killers. In other words, its saying Jesus was immortal and as such cannot be killed by mere mortals.
The Quran said Jesus left the earth unscratched and went straight to heaven and sat on the righthand of God and that He would come back to judge the world.
And this is the Jesus you are being deceived to see only as a mere messenger.

Seriously I've been reading the Qur'an my whole life and I even speak Arabic so I don't really depend much on translations and I have never read anything concerning Jesus sitting on the right hand of Allah and he coming back to judge the world, please can you direct me to the verse or hadith so I can further read up and broaden my knowledge.

if Jesus and mohamed are really ur prophets as u claim I will like to ask u two briefs questions,what was the mission of mohamed on earth cos it will not possibly be to safe people cos Jesus did that and paul and the rest did spread the word far into the world, secondly if mohamed was from God who sent Jesus too y did he not follow the teachings of Jesus but rather chose to persecute christians ,Jesus spoke about the holy spirit which the apostle operated in but mohamed never spoke in tongue,nhe was busy capturing women as sex slaves,he never did anything like Jesus, who could have started a war at the point of his capture when peter cut of the ear of one of the soldiers,he picked the ear nd put it back annd that miracle would have been enough to say let's leave this man,but they still took him meaning it was his destiny to die, what's the destiny of mohamed... If that is the case why does the pastor keep making reference to the old testament every Sunday. Why not abandon all that is written in the old testament and focus on the new testament

that is because the old testament demonstrates how mighty God is and how powerful and awesome he is,aside that it contains a lot of things that are not inline with todays life I.e brother marrying sister father marrying daughter e.t.c so the old testament was not scrapped by Jesus but he came to re_write it

Firstly thank you for at least agreeing that calling Jesus word of God doesn't make him a god.
Secondly, I will give you my answer as a Muslim and I really do not expect you to accept 100%. I do not know the Bible and seriously I hardly quote from it to avoid misquoting something out of its context like the op did with Quranic verses.
We believe the whole concept of the Son of God thing was fabricated by Christians and this in turn lead to you ridiculing the very might and the very essence of Allah. it made it easy for you to attribute somethings like having a son, mother, death etc to him, which is the height of blasphemy.
We call ourselves slaves to show our utmost humility and servitude to Allah and to avoid falling into the blasphemies that your seeking to be gods made you fall into.
and it may interest you to know that the Arabic word for slave comes from the verb عبد which also means to worship.

Allah sent Muhammad for almost the same reason He sent Jesus in the first place, to correct the aberrations people were falling into.
Allah sent Jesus to set straight and lessen some of burden of the people from the laws of the Moses.
The same way he sent Moses after Abraham, to change some things and to reaffirm others.
And besides Allah is not unjust he sent Muhammad primarily to a people that haven't witnessed another prophet since Isma'il hence they were engrossed in all forms of vices.
For Muhammad not speaking in tongues, its simple he wasn't sent for that, the same way Jesus was not sent to uphold all the teaching of Moses.
About Muhammad not being sent to save people its a shallow argument, was moses sent to take people to hell or save them from it, so why was Jesus sent then? if you imply the crucifiction, its not an argument to use when debating Muslims we do not believe in it.
