These speedtest that you guys use are more of a function of the server that you are testing.

if you switch speedtest servers you will get wildly varying speeds.


if you really want to test your actual speeds where you are, use www.fast.com

Speed tests are usually dependent on what network/server you are trying to connect to. That's why it'll always vary.

Today alone I have had more than 5hrs of down time if you read on their twitter page @ntelngcare you will find that some parts of Lagos have had weeks of down time. It feels like they have added the I back to their name to go back to Nitel.

However the good news is that their routers are not locked to the network (this was a major criteria for me). On a very bad day I have put my Etisalat sim in it and it worked well with small configuration.

I started this thread initially impressed with their service. i have long switched to glo. i dont know what network will ever get it right in Nigeria
