How To Get The Model Of Your PC Using Command(cmd) by hilario8898(op):
This post explains how to get computer model (like manufacturer name, model number) and other hardware details from Windows command prompt. The below commands should work on every edition of Windows(Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10) having wmic.
It's quite easy....

Step 1 - go to search in your PC and type "cmd " you'll then right click and run as administrator.
Step 2 - you are now to type in the following

wmic computersystem get model,name,manufacturer,systemtype

It's that easy!

Seun & lalasticlala

It's extremely useful if you want to download drivers for your PC from their website, e.g. HP from HP.com , you'll require the model number for easy identification and download.....
Thanks for reading!
