instead of all the usual empty hand wringing and empty talk about morality [nigerians love to spout about religion], ask your self how many parents are actually taking the time to sit down and talk to their children about sex

understand that in todays world, it is impossible to hide children from exposure to sex. even if you are the strictest parent there is, your children still have friends whose parents may not be so strict.

my dad hated movies and so we had very little access to movies as kids. our nighbours, who oddly enough were SUs, did not regulate their kids movies in any way. so we got to watch movies like the dirty dozen and some very very risque chinese movies. and this was in the 80s. all your kid needs now is a friend with a mobile phone, and their first introduction to sex may be a video of three men and a woman.

all the people blowing gaskets and spouting self righteous verbiage, do you have a plan for educating your kids about sex? or are you just going to blather about someone else who is addressing the issue?

You cannot stop children learning about sex, it's how we all got here.

What you can do is gradually introduce them to the biological facts of life and to encourage a healthy approach to sex. Making sex taboo is foolish and destructive. It's why AIDS/HIV and other venereal diseases are able to take hold.

How did you effectively eradicate those diseases? Through so called safe sex or abstinence?
For your information no sex is safe even the so called condom doesn't give full protection and some diseases can be contacted through pre-intimacy,
And ask around whoever wants to have sex wouldn't stop because of no condom , how many people did sex on that belief of just this time the other partner is possibly negative?
